This is embarrassing....while there's a decent crowd on hand for Davidson-Fordham, you can tell piped in crowd noise is being used to enhance it. 😆 Here for Fordham/Davidson game and this isn’t true. There were a ton of school kids here and they were very loud particularly during Fordham comeback. |

Back to the topic at hand: We're basically in an "Anyone but Dayton" mode for this tournament right? Obviously assuming the Explorers don't go on a run. Anyone but Duquesne which means we need St Louis to keep running. They survived a Rhody rally today. |

Not A10, but 2 former Explorers faced off in the America East semis tonight. Hikim and his 14 points for UMass Lowell bested Sherif Gross-Bullock and his 19 points for Bryant - 77 to 70. UMass Lowell gets Vermont in the finals on Saturday for the automatic bid....long delay between semis and finals.

Dayton, Richmond and Loyola are all game. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. If Loyola beats Dayton again and Richmond wins the tournament, all 3 are in easily. I gotta ask ya...say Loyola beats Richmond in the A10 Final, can we sneak 3 bids in the Dance? Or is the Sunday final once again gonna screw us? |

2:00- 5. VCU v. 12. Fordham. Winner gets 4. UMass tomorrow.
5:00- 7. St. Bonaventure v. 10. La Salle - Winner gets 2. Loy-Chi tomorrow
7:30- 6. Duquesne v. 14. St. Louis. Winner gets 3. Dayton tomorrow.

Xzavier Brown is turning into the stud player for them. He is becoming their most important player. Also Rasheer Fleming is also becoming a very good player. Lange is developing his players. I don't think he is removed if the Hawks fail to reach the post season.
If they remove him the program will lose a lot of young talent.

st joe's (pa) hangs on to beat mason 64-57. mason had the ball down 60-57 with just under a minute to go and rasheer fleming makes the defensive play of the game knocking it away from amari kelly on the low post. x brown then misses a jumper and fleming comes out of nowhere to get the offensive board, gets fouled and knocks down 2 foul shots to basically close out the win.
if i could pick anyone off of st joe's (pa) to start a team it would be rasheer fleming. i like reynolds and x brown too but fleming does everything for them.
the guy i can't stand is lynn greer. gets away with murder. hooks, arm-bars, barrels into people all the time and rarely gets called for any of it.

I don't know if this game proves Glitter's point or Joe's point, but Mason made one 3 today. I was wondering why they weren't at least trying to shoot 3s. For what it's worth, Mason is 14th in the A10 in 3-point attempts. Apparently, it is not their forte. |
