Not surprising. The basketball coach is more important than any of these players.

Not surprise about Jack Clark in the portal after Coach Ash was let go today. Brickus and Brantley next for the portal.

So much for me bringing up Jack Clark as a player who stuck around in another thread.

That makes transfer #11 over 2 years. That leaves us with 8 scholarship players - only 5 of whom have seen more than 10 minutes per game.

Jack had to request a transfer before it was announced that Ash would not return... Very likely others did the same

I think Clark made the decision before the Ash announcement. We will see but he pull his name out of the portal.

29 in 10 years... that's where Vital's 30 comes from.
If you notice, in our most successful season's, nobody transferred out.

You are going to see a lot more transfers everywhere good and bad schools.....
Comparing to the past is not recognizing the realities of college basketball now... Transfers were always a thing but it is on steroids right now.. You say one bad thing to a player on a bad day and he is gone the next day...

He’s running out of eligibility. Take whatever school will give you the most sellable minutes.

Lost half the roster to transfers out due to a 2-22 season. With all the transfers in they make the Sweet 16.

Whether it's 2 or 3 years of eligibility left Clark is a very hot commodity

assuming you're correct, this means in addition to his free covid year, he was able to get two medical redshirt years (the 2019-20 season, and he apparently got in just under the allowable number of games played during his true freshman year).

Not me that's correct...
This according to the La Salle compliance officer and the NCAA... Jack has 3 years of eligibility remaining

Good luck to Jack. I was convinced he'd be our best HS recruit since Duren/Wright. Maybe he still was.

Meh… as long as Charles Ireland and his 60pts and 20rbs per 40 minutes stays, we good.

Wonder if LaS / St J are considering entering a combined team next year? Keeps A10 at 14......Ghost of the Steagles. Who's going to be left? Does this require a Dispensation.....

Meh… as long as Charles Ireland and his 60pts and 20rbs per 40 minutes stays, we good. As of right now, with Brantley, Moore, and Doucoure entering the portal, Charles Ireland becomes our 5th most experienced returning player, with 2 minutes of game action and 3 points scored this season. If Brickus leaves, Ireland moves up to 4th.
