Best player in the league, looks tired all the time, and is slower than MSJ was at La Salle. Yet the dude is incredible. He's only 28. Joker was a second round pick. Process people should take note of this. We should start calling Rokas Jocius "The Joker" and people might confuse them. |

Only information I have on Bells Palsy is from the wrestling announcer Jim Ross having it. He had several bouts with it actually. I know at least one of the times he was out of commission for several months, but he was also much older than Embiid and not a pro athlete.

I ragged on lebron for playing this charade with Bronny and the draft, instead of being real with his son...David Simmons takes the cake as an enabling father.
An underachieving LSU team. Not playing in the NIT. The dumbass documentary, that should've been a GIANT RED FLAG. Him missing the season with a broken foot, despite being ready to play in January, so he could win rookie of the year and get the Nike money. Shooting lefty when he's right handed, being oblivious to criticism, going to the Superbowl with a game vs the heat the next night, and getting cooked by Jimmy Butler, then saying, "we were soft," to the media after the game.
Brett brown telling him to shoot 1 three per game, and Ben shooting even fewer threes than before. Not ever playing for Team Australia, a competitive setting to work on his game. Melting on the foul line in the playoffs, basically being unplayable in tight games in the Final minutes. Having the worst series ever, only to blame the organization that coddled your ass for 6 years. Not talking to teammates, not listening to doc rivers at practice. Being unfit to play, blaming it on mental health, yet refusing to see the Sixers doctors and shrinks. Filing greviences to get your money back, getting said money back despite not earning it.
Going to the Nets and not playing. Wearing clown ass outfits, drawing attention to himself when his team needs to play, sitting in the middle and not on the end of the bench. BS back injuries. Summer workout videos.
David Simmons, I don't know if you spoiled this fucking kid from kindergarten, but you didn't raise a tough dude that battles through adversity, or has any interest in playing basketball and earning his money.

I don’t know if sixers fans are collectively dumb or just parroting one dumb fan, but you realize Robinson had to land awkwardly on his bad ankle because his other one was being pulled? In a perfect world, Embiid’s better leg will get hit in the air so he has to land on his worse one and everything is evened up.

I try not to engage in sports “shit talk” even though sometimes I fail. Usually it’s because I tend to be very negative about my own teams chances, often excessively so. I don’t always control myself how I’d like, but I try.

Embiid is a dog. My brother has been saying it for like 5 years, since the Raptors series where he missed 2 games with a stomach bug and the sniffles.
I've finally come around to it. The guy is often hurt, but he wants you to know he's hurt. He's always out of shape, his was cooked during the last 6 minutes of the game.
Trade him before he's spent. He's got 2 elite years left.

In fact, I pretty much texted the same exact thing to my college buddy chat thread. Morey also needs to go since he helped create this "team". Trade Embiid now while you can hopefully get some value for him, but find a GM that is savvy enough to rebuild the team. They're easily 4 to 5 years away from being contenders if they can get a good GM in here and IF they can find an ownership group that will stay the hell out of the way and invest in the team. |

What bad draft picks were made tho Let’s see. They got no help from the 2021 or 2022 draft. Maxey was a good pick in 2020 No help in the 2019 draft. 2018 they draft Mikal Bridges which was great pick and they trade him for a complete stiff who is out of the league. 2017 where do I start. The story of Markel Fultz. I didn’t even bring up the crime of giving Tobias Harris the contract they gave him, the saga of Ben Simmons etc….. Josh Harris is a clown in the sports world. Wish I had his money but don’t want him as my owner. |
