Yeah but on the other hand Nick Nurse tried to call a timeout for the three quarters of a second his guy had possession of the ball in Game 2 and didn’t get it. Both are equally as morally indefensible.

Sixers are a good team. They may well win the series. I’ve said that all along. Defending what Embiid did last night as anything other than intentional, unnecessary, and dangerous is absurd.

I mean maybe. If he wanted to hurt him he could have hurt him. And Robinson didn’t go out on that play. It was a later play. Flagrant 1 was correct given the context for me. If he was tossed, I wasn’t going to be surprised or angry.

Yeah. Robinson limping away from that play is negated by him not immediately leaving the game. Absolves Embiid for playing a role in his reinjury. In fact, because he tried to catch him, Embiid is kinda a hero here and the Knicks should thank him.

On another note, the Sixers shooting in the third quarter last night was absurd. The Knicks were keeping up with them to an extent for the first 8 minutes or so of the Quarter, but seemingly every time down the floor the Sixers were hitting a 3 and it ballooned to 13. The Knicks defense wasn't great in that quarter, but it wasn't "allow 43 points in a quarter" terrible either.

Yeah when the teams kind of came together early in the game and there were words exchanged, I was yelling for no one on the Knicks to come off the bench. Flashbacks to their series with the Heat in '97.

Denver firing on all cylinders has “Fo-Fo-Fo” potential. Jokic is unreal but the whole roster is so well out together. Jokic could end up this season as a 3-time MVP and 2-time champion. He might already be a Top 10 all-time player with that resume. People who don’t pay attention to the NBA have no clue how incredible that guy is.

There has also never been another player like him — slow as molasses big man who is also the best passer in the league and absolutely cannot miss from the mid court in. With a ridiculous looking three point shot that works.
