Putting this up there for hoopsguest and the anti-NBA guys. Actually, I'm putting this up here because the transfer portal is depressing on 20th & Olney.
Lakers are up 10 at the half. They are +10 in free throw disparity, and like +1000 in free throws for the year. It's hard to play 5 on 8.
Adam Silver really wants the Lakers tonight.
He wants the Warriors in the late game as well.

Sixers are a good team and I’d rather be in the 3 spot and playing Indiana but at this point my choices are Philly and Miami. And Miami knocked the Knicks out of the playoffs on their way to the Finals last year.

I like Embiid a lot, I’m not knocking him or minimizing the Sixers. Of the likely top 8 teams, I’d rather play Cleveland (Knicks always play them well), Orlando, Indiana, and probably even Milwaukee (definitely without Giannis) than Philly. But there’s just something about Miami I don’t want any part of.

Porter just got the Pete Rose treatment from the NBA. If the NBA version of everything is true, he's just so exceptionally dumb. Like I kinda feel bad about a guy losing his entire career but that's about as self-inflicted as you can possible get. |

Yeah I have a lot of issues with the leagues embracing sports gambling as much as they have, but even saying that, a guy betting on his own team (especially AGAINST his own team) has to bring an immediate lifetime ban. And no one should attempt to argue against it.

Well ... the argument against it is going to be that gambling addiction is a disease and the leagues are both promoting and discriminating. Not saying Porter is an addict versus a dummy, but that'll be the counter. Same as if the NBA partnered with weed companies while banning players for positive tests.

Well D and Neumann, I don't think the Sixers should've won tonight, I think the refs officiated a pacers-pistons series from 20 years ago, but you got the series you want.
