Once he was benched (along with Greer), Christ wasn’t coming back to St. Joe’s. Lange in trouble now. |

Everyone is saying "how can we compete in this market" but is there any proven correlation to $ and success at this point? Is NC State a huge spender that somehow fell to an 11 seed?

Lets be honest ... St. Joseph's of PA and lets say Providence weren't competing anyway in the sense of having anything but a massive fluke shot of even a Sweet 16. Its different, but its really not except that maybe some teams that historically couldn't compete now can. Like Austin Peay was never going to win a title but if some mega-donor splashes out $30MM in NIL for a season, who knows?

As Charles Barkley stated after a couple tournament upsets last year, they're are a lot of good basketball players out there. The power conferences will get most of the top players, we need to find the ones who fall through the cracks and really want to win. Deuce Jones and Demetrius Lilley are a great start. If we can convince Brantley and Shepherd to return and add another athletic wing, who knows!

Here is a shooter that if we had more scholarships I would have interest in. Shot 38% from three and I think he struggled late in the season and his percentage was higher before he struggled. He is not a Nova level player but could do well in the A-10.

Good point. I am sure some schools will invest in standstill shooters that can knock down 3's like him. |

Hausen is from Texas so doubtful he would stay local for the A10
You should always declare for the draft. You can pull out - plus you get feedback on your game and you showcase yourself for foreign teams. That’s what Armstrong is doing
