DJ Wagner is in the portal... I'm predicting that he's walking in Memphis, walking with his feet 10 feet off of Beale! He signed an NIL deal with Nike and had a specific shoe he is endorsing (why you knew he wasn’t going to Louisville with grandpa). He is definitely going to a Nike school. Wouldn’t be shocked if he stayed at UK

On what planet is going from St. Joe's to Providence a "sideways move", basketball-wise or academically?

Basketball wise, I believe it to be a sideways move. So my planet.

Basketball wise, I believe it to be a sideways move. So my planet. yeah. A10 is sideways to Big East. A program with 1 NCAA appearance in the past 10 years versus a program with 7 NCAAs plus 2 NITs in the past 10 is sideways. When did you start following scientology because St. Joe's being sideways to Providence is about as fictional as that.

Providence is head and shoulders above St Joes. Ask a recruit the difference

Under Ed Cooley sure. Kim English was an average A10 coach who got a bump. Both teams lost in the first round of the NIT, but St Joe’s lost to the eventual champions. I don’t think the difference from a basketball standpoint is great, but I could be wrong.

Also, Joes has two three stars and two four stars coming next year. They’re not trailing Providence on recruits.

The easiest way to answer whether it’s sideways or not is simple. Ask 100 high level national recruits which they prefer: St Joes or Providence.
It may not be 80/20 Providence but it sure will favor Providence.

How many of those high level recruits are going to Providence though. Sure, they have higher exposure. They play in a better conference. But from a BASKETBALL standpoint, he should have stayed at Saint Joe's in my opinion. And I think Billy Lange stinks. There's just more to gain from a big man at St. Joe's than to be on a 18-win Providence team. Again in my opinion.

Kim English is ass cheeks as a coach. And he might be good one day. Nothing that shows he is good as of yet.

Providence is above St Joes in almost every way/category. That’s not a knock on St Joes but statement of reality. Maybe that specific kid should’ve stayed at St Joes for his own personal goals, impact on team, “fit”, etc. But when comparing program vs program, there’s very little that St Joes can say it has an advantage over Providence in.

Joe, he beat Georgia and Wisconsin in the nonleague schedule, and went 10-10 in the big east. With 4 guaranteed wins against Georgetown and DePaul. He did nothing at Mason to warrant the job at PC. He's cheeks.

Ari Rosenfeld @arosenfeldhoops · 20m Delaware State transfer Jevin Muniz has committed to Florida Gulf Coast, he announced on IG. The All-MEAC guard with 2 years of eligibility is a prolific shooter and scorer with size and two-way playmaking instincts.
Allentown native and @eeacsbasketball / @phillyprideaau product

We’re talking CAA to Kentucky i like williams but he's in for a rude awakening going up against sec frontlines on a regular basis. if pope is able to add a few 4-5 star big men to the roster then williams could do well as a role player.
