Zion Cruz 6’5 Shooting Guard (Pratt Community College) averaged 14.6 points 3,4 boards & 2.5 assist per game. Cruz is receiving strong interest/offers from all division 1 programs Manhattan College, Rider University and Lasalle University have all reached out in the past week.

While I appreciate hearing from some of our posters who post info about players we have contacted, it would be nice to get some in depth information about who we are targeting. With all the staff members connected to the team, can't someone be in charge of leaking some info through this board and some of the X accounts that closely follow the program? We desperately need to recapture some of the interest in the program lost over the last couple of decades. We need more fans to buy tickets, more donors to the team and more donors to the collective if we're going to regain relevance. By leaking info about potential recruits periodically maybe we can create some off season interest. We know the Penn guard is visiting Nova and that Jamir is visiting VCU so somebody from those programs is passing info along. We need an enormous effort by everyone associated with the team to create a more engaged fan base. I do appreciate what the AD has done in posting a couple videos about the arena and I think we need more of this across the program. Go 'splorers!

I will give you two names I know we are very involved with. Others I was told in confidence and I don't have any first hand knowledge so I don't post anything that was said in confidence. I am sure others on the board probably always do the same.

Jevin Muniz - Delaware State
Eric Acker - LIU
I don't know if they are at the top of the staff's list or not but both have mutual interest in La Salle and La Salle in them.

John would be very interesting.. A lot of big schools on him out of high school/Team Durant. Also, a plus perimeter shooter only one high major (texas a&m) on the list of schools that contacted jahnathan so far, which is good for us. jahnathan lamothe is off the table |

Donofrio Classic is no indication of college success. I have gone there every year for the past 30 years or so. Grew up 6 blocks away.
I have seen great performances like Joe Gower score 76 points and do nothing in college to Rasual Butler score 2 points and get bounced in the first round.
I am looking forward to seeing Deuce. But we need 2 experienced guards to join the program. Whether a return from our own guys or transfer. We need experience in the backcourt next year.

la salle was involved last year, was surprised they never offered. averaged 13.7 pts, 3.3 rbds and 3.6 assts and was the meac freshman of the year. he's going to be tough to get, his cousin was the leading scorer and rebounder at uab last season and they're in the mix. imo, he's better than his teammate muniz who just committed to fgcu.
