Will be interesting to see how this goes. We played them even in the second half and for the first time in 8 years, they didn't have the game firmly in hand against us.
Also, ESPN+ updated its list for the top 25 recruiting classes for 2023 and Nova is nowhere to be found on the list. PSU was in the top 25 in the last report and just dropped out. It's a new world without Jay!

I don't think the game was ever in doubt. It wasn't a blowout, by it was a double digit game throughout most of its entirety.

Does no one else remember that Ash's team played Nova within 4 points and 2 minutes to go twice in his short tenure? Even had a halftime lead in one of them down at Wells Fargo Center.
Sure, the final scores were like +10 but those were some good games if you missed them. Were it not for the free throws disparity we may have outshot them as well.

Temple beats Nova by 4. Led most of game.
Totally different team without Jay. Open threes were nonexistent. Little cutting off ball for jumper or layup. Way too much dribbling and hero ball. Temple did a good job defending and outplaying on the schoolyard game pace of play
Nova will be better with Whitmore and Moore but this is a vastly different squad without Jay.

They need Justin Moore and Cam Whitmore to get healthy
They could be a totally different team come March, although Moore getting going again will be the difficult one - he’s probably not back until February
