Are they seriously considering keeping those old school scoreboards above the court? We already have 2 videoboards, why not get the last two?

Am I the only one who sees a major problem with "a huge L at center court"? I am pretty sure the “big L” in the center of the court is just a rendering. I think there will be more detailed drawings and more thought as to what the branding is going to be..... |

Looks like Saint Joe’s facility, Which I think would be a perfect fit for us. I hope this happens. Same firm that renovated a portion of the DAC. Many elements from that project have been applied at a much larger scale for this, which I think is a good, modern -looking solution. |

This is impossible to answer but would you guess that all home games would be at the Palestra during renovations if necessary?

That's the one I was talking about in my post (that went who knows where?). The only differences were the flag said "La Salle" and the Explorer was standing on three books. I like the current Explorer logo, but this one is better. This logo, but modernized a little would be cool. Not modernized in the usual sense of making it "fierce" I just mean cleaning up the art and colors a little, but still this general idea. Will probably have to get rid of the sword and gun as well. Because let's face it, somebody out there is going to complain about it, and you'll end up getting rid of it anyway. |

Put this baby at center court and we're cooking with gas  You guys should totally do this, that would be awesome. If we could get Joe's to dump that terrible Hawk we'd have 5 great courts in the Big 5. Really glad to see Gola is getting some upgrades. I really like it as a classic college basketball gym, but it's nicer as a novelty for someone outside of the program. I wouldn't want my program trying to drag recruits in to play there. Also really glad there's gonna be a bar. Hopefully it keeps regular hours. I mentioned this when I did my piece on La Salle basketball for my blog, but there's virtually nothing to do on or around campus. A bar would be a great gathering place for you guys. |

Looks nice. Thought I would be dead before this came to fruition. Kudos to the school for making it happen and thanks to the donors who made it happen. If the plan gets delayed into 2048 maybe they can build a nursing home into the new gym for the old alums. |
