If these are the plans then this is the equivalent of a new arena. Thanks Gymrat for posting this.

5 rows on the side of the court? So now we will have half of our seats behind the basket. I hope everyone asking for seats behind the basket is happy!!

whatcha talking about I see 13. Center court south side!! Good point. I think the artist depiction shows more rows than the floor plan graphic....I'd be happy with the Artist's ve4sion...not so much with the floor plan version

It's only talking about the day of giving and charter dinner. No other big donations.

So at the President's Council meeting this week (after 30 minutes of technology issues preventing people from joining remotely), Baptiste shared drawings and renderings of the plans and I've been told from an attendee that they are really promising. Hopefully there is a decision to release these broadly and get people excited.

Are they different than what was shared on this thread?

I'm laughing at the "It's a great day to be a Great Dane" line. Did Ash get a job there as their social media coordinator?

So we are entering another college admissions cycle for high school seniors, and still nothing being broadly communicated about the facilities plan.
With the economy as it is, maybe donations stalled? The absence of any more public information on this is concerning with the clock ticking on the Glaser money.

Very sad we can’t drag this over the finish line.

The facility with a $50 mil price tag a year ago, will now cost $60 mil. Maybe more. $70 mil if you wait another year.

Supposedly, nothing has changed and still planning on moving forward. We all know this is going to be a painstaking process. It's the LaSallian way smh. While it isn't public, you can reach out to the school and they will give you a rundown.

While it isn't public, you can reach out to the school and they will give you a rundown. And that's the crux of the problem. We shouldn't have to reach out to the school to get this information. I received a full color brochure in the mail this week about the Explorer Club and different giving levels and benefits for basketball. Maybe they should have thrown in something about the facilities plans into that. It shouldn't be incumbent on each alum, particularly alums who are donors, to call up and ask the status of a major initiative.

I’m sure when they want the public to know about it they will do something.

La Salle has several open positions in the Athletics department. Part of the nature of the job market right now which is my guess why things are moving so slow.
I have to imagine it would be smart to go public soon. It would be nice to make an announcement of the plans in front of a crowd whether that's homecoming or the Temple game.
It's all very frustrating and hopefully we get some answers soon but I'm not holding my breathe.

Absolutely correct diehard. We have a new President that is bad at this as his predesessors. I know it is early but this project should be a big deal to him and the university and should be doing a better job updating all interested.
