Michael Tertsea to Rhode Island. Visited La Salle a couple of weeks ago. Chose the Rams over GW according Adam Zagoria. We weren't even mentioned. He visited Rhody with Cyrill Langevine who we are also interested in. This commitment should keep Rhody off of him for us. If Langevine wants to commit to URI, they will take him.

Per Coach Harris, 6'10 '16 Rick Lewis @coach_Rick57 · Sep 16 Per source LaSalle has offered 6'10 Duom Duwan of Moravian Prep. G visited Moravian Prep yesterday so I'm assuming there is serious interest. The recruiting gurus have been butchering his name. It is actually Duom Dawam. He is originally from The Sudan, moved to Australia to play Australian Football but also played basketball there, and then moved to the US and played AAU ball this summer for Chauncey Billups Colorado Hawks AAU program. In the past week, he's gotten offers from La Salle, Towson, Rider, and Tennessee Tech. He's very thin but is long and it looks like he's a natural shot blocker. Otchere is from The Bronx and is doing a post-grad year at Bull City. You have to believe G saw him yesterday as well since that is also located in North Carolina.

I used to work with a guy whose name was Tom Bullcock. I always thought that was a rather interesting last name. (can't say whether it helped him on the dating scene or not).

Rokas Ulvydas who had verballed to La Salle is now at Texas Tech. He has to sit out this season and is listed as a redshirt sophomore on the Texas Tech roster. Just like Yevgen, the NCAA has required him to serve a year in residence and he'll only have 3 years of eligibility. I'm pretty sure Rokas was denied admission to La Salle. So instead we ended up with Demetrius Henry. I'd take that trade any time.

Not sure if we recruited either of these kids, but UMass picked up a pair of commits today G offered Jarreau but I don't think La Salle was ever really in the picture. Great pickups by UMass. It came down to them and Miami.

Typically at this time of year, there's a Lull in the recruiting.

Dr. Coach better be doing everything in his power to get Jimbo Lull's amazing name on a LOI. My heart wept when Tacko (the 7'8" African kid who wears goggles when he plays) went to UCF. He would have been my favorite basketball player ever. Without question.

Mik's guy, Chris Baldwin, is going to UMASS along with Jarreau and Gresham. The 2 from LA would have been the ideal recruiting class IMO for us - a tall combo guard (Jarreau) and a PF (Gresham).

La Salle is now chasing Andrew Gordon out of South Kent Prep in Florida. He is an ex-football player now 6"10. Arkansas also after him.
Florida has been good to G recently.

Is he also known as Papa N'diaye? I've seen that name associated with a couple of other A-10 teams.

Kevin Marfo, a 6'8" PF who I think was offered by La Salle has committed to GW. At this point it looks like G is going after every guy 6'10" or bigger who can walk and chew gum.
