On Philahoops, Aaron Bracy said that St Joe's has more "starter depth" than UConn, but St Joe's plays a six man rotation. "Depth" is not really the word, is it?

Ha, St Joes starting 5 is better as than UConn's, but a)the St Joe's bench is a black hole of the bad and the ugly and b)we've all seen that it only takes one star player to carry a team, and UConn has that if he wakes up.

St. Joe's is gonna win, and they deserve it too. Blegh.
On the plus side, UConn is losing.

Anyone else think it was "Bree-mah", not "Brime-ah"?

Kanecevic ejected, St Joe's looking very thin now. I thought his 4th foul was just about straight up, but his knees leaned into the defender.

I'd now like to take this time to point out that "rooting" for something has no effect on whether that thing happens or not, so for people who were rooting the Hawks tonight because of the A-10, please don't get pissed at those of us who weren't. Because all in all, it doesn't matter what we wished for.
Stinks SLU is not going to keep up their end, because I don't have much faith in GW or UMass tomorrow, and a lot of people think VCU could be in for a tough one (although I think they'll win).

philmustgo.com is no longer responding. I don't know how to spin this if you're a St Joe's fan, but it would seem Phil got his players to overachieve this year, as much as they may have underachieved last year.

Once the Papa kid came in for Joes they were in trouble. Crazy he is their 6th man

St. Louis lays an egg, peaked way too early
St. Joes of Pa lack of depth caught up with them, Uconn is not very good nova will destroy them

Things are right in the world again. Admittedly disappointed in the SLU outcome but I'm glad I won't have to get the NCAA edition of the holy war forced down my throat for the next few days.

Halil, Galloway, and Roberts were all pretty good players. Both SJU and La Salle are going to drastically different teams. Weird after 4 static years of the same names.

Boy oh boy ... [stifles grin] ... sure do feel bad for St. Joseph's of PA. Same conference, same city, Big 5, really feels like a little part of us lost too ... [smirks] ... proud of them either way, represented well, hope their heads are held high ... [laughter] ...
Glad they're out. Hope the dick who was here when they got their 1 in the season's 1-1 is taking it hard.

Wow, furious comeback by SLU. Seeing Jett drive the lane is giving me flashbacks to our loss to them.
You know, those back to back drives right at our all-conference defender...

St. Joe's loss comes down to lack of depth. Once they lost Kanacevic, it was over.

Now SLU seems intent on giving it away. Wow!
Not for nothing, 3 best games of the day so far: The A-10 games.

I feel bad for the sju players but can't root for them bc of their fans as you make reference to.

See ya NC State! Hell of a win, and keeps that "Coach K is a prick" argument in play.
