It is not Harvard, but it's in the same state as another well known Ivy. It's in the next town up from that other, well-known Ivy. They have a "Den" as well.

If we played @ Harvard I'd be pretty furious given that I lived 1 train stop up until a few months ago.

Just figured it out and I'm kicking myself for not realizing it until now.
A Kickoff Game is great.

I couldn't find anything on twitter about this, however, I am going to go ahead and guess that this team could be a sleeping giant.

The team's nickname is also the nickname of an NBA team, today.

Based on this, my guess is Harvard, with zero research done. Pure guess. It is not Harvard, but it's in the same state as another well known Ivy. Head West young man. Where's Kitty Carlisle when you need her?

This is incorrect found out today the real story I believe. Game will be at home but it isn't this team that is being discussed. Think of a terrible team that destroyed all hope of Virginia making the NCAA last year. I could be wrong but I found out today from a reliable source. Awesome it is at home but terrible match up.

I thought the opinion poll clue was a slam dunk. Here's one more. Think Manfred Mann. LOL. This was the key. (Don't say Franklin and Marshall)

When I say horrible I mean they were absolutely TERRIBLE last year. UVA worst loss of the year.

I assume you're talking about a former member of the CAA. I don't know which to believe (though I'd rather have a road game in southern Connecticut).

I guess will find out in a few weeks for sure which team it is. If this is part of the tip-off marathon, it'll likely be sooner than that. They announced last years scheduled early July, so I'd imagine it'd be sooner than later.

What's Manfred Mann's biggest hit? Blinded by the Light... and I'm still whiffing on this one. You young bucks think Blinded by the Light was Manfred's biggest hit because Bruce covered it. Manfred's biggest hit was actually a cover of a song written by Bob Dylan. It was also covered over the years by The Ventures, The Hollies, and The Grateful Dead but Manfred's version was the only one that became a hit single in both the USA and the UK. Here is the opening verse: Come all without, come all within You'll not see nothing like the Mighty ........ If you can't figure it out now, you never will.

Hint: Murray Lender the bagel guy went there and it's named Quinnipiac. Shhh. Don't say it. And don't worry Kjmac, I've had it figured out sometime now. I just couldn't figure out the Manfred connection if my life depended on it.

You would rather play a 300+ RPI just to get on TV or play a better opponent?

Former CAA mystery team. Didn't they move to the Sun Belt, or something? Incidentally, don't tell anyone what ODU stands for. Wouldn't want to make it too obvious.

I'd rather have a home game on the Kickoff Day. That's such a great event. I kind of hope we get the 6 AM game so I don't have to take a sick day.
