Bad losses will be more costly this season. Highly unlikely that we'll have the chance to defeat ranked teams with the kinds of RPI that Butler/VCU had last year. Butler's RPI, especially, was tremendous thanks to wins over the likes of Indiana and Gonzaga. Furthermore, while it helps make the games more winnable, we will likely not have the opportunity to beat a ranked team on the road since we get SLU and VCU at home this season. The season has to play out, obviously, but it would just appear that our schedule will not afford us as many opportunities for statement wins this season.

Exhibition game with Indiana U of PA on November 2nd added to the schedule. No game with Carleton this year, who has already beaten TCU, Towson, and Wisconsin easily and leads Syracuse at the half tonight.

Has the conference schedule been announced yet?
BTW, a buddy of mine who went to VCU told me that all of their announced games this year sold out within 12 hours. THAT is nuts.

I just googled last years and it was released on September 6th. So I would think that any time next week on we should be seeing it.
