both teams are playing lousy defense. the difference is, uic takes their time and either gets an open jumper or an isolation on the low post by their big guys. la salle is rushing everything, jacking up shots which aren't terrible but there's better ones available if they'd just make an extra pass or two.
that end of the half was a result of that.

Halftime. UIC- 48 La Salle- 39 .......brutal end to the half. Just terrible. This is a real problem. What happened to the team that played so well in the first 4 games? I get that the first 4 teams weren't the best of the best, but the team played well nonetheless. This would be a very bad loss. Let's hope they turn it on and turn things around. |

G-Ball, Ash ball, Star ball.. Whatever you want to call it… It is just poor.. Perimeter defense is looking like a matador… Acker can not come soon enough… Independent of the result today, changes have to be made. |
