I know you will laugh in pain because this is coming from me but...
Too highlight some positive things.. Marrero and Shepherd offensively are having their best games.. Their defense is questionable, as neither a strong suit for both players, but they are not holding us back offensively like everyone else

I'm okay if the team loses a hard fought contest to an equal or better opponent, but it's these blow outs to piss poor teams that kill me. Yes very much.. Really hurts whatever fan morale there is for program

Poor Victorious, Las71 and I was in LA. If they're sitting through this game in-person today, they're probably wishing they were sitting for a root canal instead.

Did I miss it becoming illegal to go 2-2 from the foul line?

We should not be giving up 96 points to UIC. Heck...we only allowed Duke to get 95 last year.

FINAL. UIC-96 La Salle-83 On the bright side.......at least it's Friday? We're about to take 7th or 8th in a dogshit tournament... I feel like it's 06-07 and we just went 0-3 vs. Holy Cross, Niagara, and Delaware.

We scored 83 points and were never in for the majority of this game.
That is particularly impressive

I couldn't make today's game but did watch most of it on BallerTV. Plan on attending tomorrow despite the 2 losses. Agree with poster who liked Marrero and Shep being more aggressive on offense. I would like to see McKeithan be more of a pass first point guard. We really need to bring in a few 6'6" 3 and D guys. Lot of season left. Go 'splorers!

Did not watch the game, but i just saw the box score. Interesting how we shot 50% from the field and lost by 13. -18 points from the line and -15 from 3. Explos got out-rebounded by 11 while UIC had 16 more attempts from the foul line. This speaks to a lack of effort on defense. Will kill you every time, no matter who you play.

The game wasn't as close as the score indicates. UIC had a healthy 20 point + lead for most of the 2nd half. They intentionally took their foot off of the gas in the last 4 minutes.

La Salle has tumbled to 150 on KenPom after giving up 1.26 Points per possession (And it was worse if you take it after 32 minutes). For context La Salle only gave up more than that 4 times last year and previous high this season was 1.02 against Cornell.

I can't decide if I wanna go down to Wells Fargo and boo the hell out of Embiid and Simmons or sit home and drink the rest of my Shipyard Octoberfest, this sucks...

How do you know whether those two prima donnas will even play? Simmons is more interested in planning his next costume for the Met Gala then he is in playing. Zero heart. Embiid is too lazy to get himself into real shape. And then the Sixers decide to throw good money after bad and sign George aka Mr. Glass. What a train wreck that franchise is. At least Simmons is gone. I wanted them to trade Embiid in the off season when he still had some value. Now they'd get a bag of chips and a free parking pass for him.

Sat 12 feet behind the teams bench, great experience, enjoyed the heck out of it. actually kinda special. But not much else to enjoy. Still digesting not sure of just how bad we are.

Still digesting not sure of just how bad we are. It's kind of how I thought the season would be the last two days. The four wins got us excited. Deuce needs to play more...there's no getting around it.

Next up is the 1-5 Stetson Hatters.
Their 1 win was against an NAIA opponent (The New College of Florida Mighty Banyans - a team that literally plays their home games in a high school gym - Brandenton Christian School)
Their 5 losses have been by an average of 15.6 points (with a Median of 21 for those who like statistics).

For context La Salle only gave up more than that 4 times last year and previous high this season was 1.02 against Cornell. This is really bad. We had fought our way to about 118. The San Diego loss hurt a little as we went to about 124. This was a disaster.
