This is the best half of basketball we have played this year and we are only up 4. Goes to show how much talent the Hawks have. Reynolds has hit some tough shots.

Perimeter defense isn’t our strong suit as we have seen the last few years but he is making some impressive shots SJU fans saying the same thing of Brickus today |

Great basketball all around. Up 6 at the half. Really need to keep the shooting going. I don’t think the Hawks are going to cool too much. They have other shooters besides Reynolds that haven’t gotten very involved yet.

That was a terrific half of basketball by our guys.
I would like to see La Salle slow it down in the second half - a running game just isn't our strong suit and we seem to physically drop substantially in second halves.

He bailed us out a few times early this season.. Brickus can’t do it by himself in the backcourt even as great as he is… Marrero stepping up to support is huge today and hopefully for rest of season.. Tunde playing better today than a few days ago but thought a couple of shots were going to fall.. We are going to need those in the second half to keep up this torrent scoring pace Glad to see that Rokas is looking healthy and contributing.. Wish it didn’t take until the final 2 months of season but injuries happen, etc etc.., |

We up by 6 44-38 at the halftime. Brickus balling today and we shootings well today. We are 9\19 from 3’s (47%). Jocius (8 pts and 3 rebounds) playing well in the post and Marrero (10pts) shooting well coming off the bench. We need the same energy in the second half to get this victory.

I think that's the first time I've seen Rokas called for the illegal screen this year, but I've thought he could have been called for it several times this year. Luckily he hasn't. He's played well today although he's been eaten up on the inside in the second half so far.
