This is a great picture. Clear and you can tell the blue is darker than we saw on the webcam which is much better. Place looks amazing. My only concern right now is I am not sure I am thrilled that the Glaser Suite will be what everyone sees when the game is on TV. It is behind the scorer's table and I worry it may look odd as it takes up a lot of the stands but yet will only have a few people in the suite. i can't remember what thread it was in, but i believe the poster who counted all the seats indicated the glaser suite would have somewhere between 50-60 seats in it (along with the area you can see in this picture where tables will be) so i don't think it will look bad as long as they fill it up every game. here's a link to an article in today's inquirer. glad to hear the explorer is doing okay. www.inquirer.com/college-sports/la-salle/la-salle-basketball-complex-tom-gola-plaza-john-glaser-arena-20240925.html

Are we sure that that is the scorers table? Looks to be something similar to Gryz's right.

If you build it, will they come?

If you build it, will they come? Haven't heard anything about ticket sales. Hopefully they are doing well. Anyone heard anything about ticket sales?

Can't tell from the photos I have seen thus far.

It should be on the other side away from the camera facing angle.. This is the only variable that bothers me about the whole project..

I'm not sure why we have the Glaser Suite. Was it a requirement as part of the gift? Who will have access to the suite seats? The Glaser family. La Salle administrators, dignitaries. Recruits. Anyone in the know on this? I'm okay with it especially if it was a condition of the bequest just wondering who gets to sit there

Where is the L going to be lit???! i pray that thing and the accompanying smoke machine were the first things thrown in the trash during the demo part of the renovation. either that or given to the gola boyz to put in their basements. i'm sorry, but that was an embarrassment. gave lots of ammo for the anti-la salle a10 fans on social media to ridicule la salle.

I think Ash took one of the smoke machines as a parting gift...

There were so many things that made the original attic what it was, and I will miss. Now, I wouldn’t want to go back, but give it time and we will be feeling nostalgic about the little things about the attic such as : the squeaky bleacher in W5 that the Explorer utilized well, the “L” and smoke machine, the microphone feedback during the national anthem, the warmth of the attic (to put it mildly) and that stale popcorn!!! All played to our advantage

I still get chills watching that renovation announcement video. Getting Charles Barkley (probably my favorite Sixer ever with Doc and Andrew Toney close behind) was genius. Allen, Puri, Fran and Mountain all acquitted themselves well. It was very professionally done. I can't wait for Nov. 4.

it's not a room. it's an open area with the three rows of seats in front of a landing where people can stand and watch the game while getting served food and drinks.

Note that the 2018 proposed Tom Gola Arena renovation / retrofit architectural drawings ( e.g., drawing Nos. 35 thru 41 ) by Kimmel Bogrette, Architecture and Site, that had been incorporated in the March, 2019 proposed Campus Master Plan submitted to the BOT, which had envisioned north, south, east and west pedestrian concourses at the mezzanine level surrounding the seating bowl, were ultimately not utilized, presumably due to the significantly higher ( unmanageable ) estimated construction cost.
