Feels weird to be making a game thread again. Since the Paradise Jam, it feels like this team has barely played at all. Last non-con game before A-10 play starts Thursday. Also, after today, only 2 more games that aren't on some kind of TV in the Philadelphia area, which as awesome.
I was originally working until 6 today, so was going to be able to see the game. Then they moved the start time to accommodate the last Eagles game of the year, so I was out of luck. But then my schedule got changed last minute, so I'm off today (working tomorrow), which at least frees me up to watch the game today.
Penn is not good, but neither are we at this point. Still it's a Big 5 game, and an important game to get back in the swing of things before A-10 play starts. The season can still be salvaged across those 16 games. But first, need to win today, and how about looking good doing it?

Is this game broadcast anywhere. When I do to the LaSalle site it states Live Video but when I click on it I get to a very odd Penn site but I cannot find vido on the site. Don't mind paying but need to know how to get there. Any help?

Super happy I get to watch this! I was planning on going at the 7 start time but the time change screwed that up.
I think the schedule this season has stunk. Not in terms of teams and results (although, yeah) but because there has been absolutely no pace. That might be some of the problem -- just absolutely no way to get into a good flow and stay there.
Place looks empty. It's a shame but the roads in the city are TERRIBLE.

Penn announcers are well-researched w/ point guard Sam Mills leading the way!
Garland starting. I think this is the right move to make.

I'm not paying 10 bucks for one game. So just a listen day for me I guess.

This is Explorers basketball. Only 11-7 but really impressed with what we're doing on both sides of the court. We've forced a bunch of turnovers. Who thought that the first time Steve Zack got minutes in the blue and gold that he'd become this good?

Super good ball movement leads to a wide open shot for DJ. He misses, but that was great.

Anyone else have an ulcer with the play of Mills, DJP and KL?

No TD3 on the court. That's what happens.

We just got like four offensive rebounds on one possession. First time in half a decade probably.

Hahahaha.... UPenn color guy has no recollection of the SW Philly Floater and Cousin Bern. Pretty sure it's Vince Curran, who was a big stiff on awful Penn teams in the late 80s and early 90s. He should talk less

28-15 good guys. Best stretch of hoops I've seen from them all year. Duren's healthy again and it shows. Garland hasn't sat once. G wants to get him going.
JW is unstoppable today. And our defense has been really good.

Penn has nothing to counter Zack or Wright. Just keep getting the ball to them down low and limit the poor shot selection and we should have a comfortable afternoon.

Extremely disappointed in Mills play. +1. Scared to shoot and he keeps dribbling into the heart of the zone with nowhere to go.

We have to do something better against a 2-3 zone.

Legitimately, Vince Curran is the worst announcer I have ever heard in my life. The charge on both ends of the court looked like pretty clean charges.

I love Rohan. But I think we should get Steve in the game against the 2-3 zone. He can pass the ball out of the high post and sets good screens.

Halftime. La Salle 36 Penn 20.
We weathered like a 5 minute drought without a FG. Penn is not very good, which helped. Still, need to snap out of it in the 2nd half and play like they did in the first 12 or so minutes of the 1st Half.
....I typed that before the half ended. They were able to open it up pretty good in the last 90 seconds.
