Yeah, Penn is pretty bad. They've got two set plays that are any good -- I like the high-low to Dougherty, who is their best player. But other than that, it's a bunch of average-ish Ivy League players sort of just running around.
There's a book out about how to beat us w/ a 2-3 zone. We finally started getting some fast breaks. We also got to the FT line a lot. That helps.

Penn just played the worst half of BBall of any opponent i have watched us play this year.
As disgusted with what I am seeing with our quality of play----inconsistent D frequent foolish play on O... and we are up by 16. hard to believe!!!!

Ah, I didn't realize Zack has two fouls, if ESPN's box score is to be believed, which it might not be as Amare Stukes is listed as a starter.

Hank Davis is also apparently a starter.

Thanks for the updates. Following along. We are tailgating on my back patio for the Eagles game. Got the grill going and the fire pit. Now let's see LaSalle finish strong and the birds do the same.

I see the Amar Stukes is also. The only stat I really do not like is 8 turnovers.

Kale talking about texting with Paul Johnson regarding football (Johnson is a big Redskins fan). Cool little anecdote. Johnson apparently in attendance today.

Vince Curran swears every time JW catches the ball and works the post he travels. Uhm, no. Also, JW has six straight. His FT for 7 rimmed out.

Make that eight straight. After we got some offensive rebounds off some open looks. This is NCAA Jerrell against a mid-tier, at best, Ivy team. Awesome.
44-20 good guys.

#11 for them might have the worst looking jumpshot I've seen at the Division 1 level.

14:27 to go. Explorers up 51-22. Just what the doctor ordered (GET IT?!?!?!) Could be a Hank Davis game.

We've given up one FG for the past eight minutes or so of game time. Some is because Penn is bad but we're also making them worse.

Have given up four points over the past ten minutes of game time. This is one FG and two FTs. That is just decimation.

Won't happen but I would love to hold them under 30 for the game. Penn looks like a team who couldn't win my intramural league.

This hurts our chances against GW after playing a very very bad team like Penn. I wish I could say we our back but the truth is we won't know until we play GW and that game scares me after playing this game.

I doubt we'll see TD3 the rest of the game. Get Khalid some time running things.
Penn now running a full court press. Zack is getting wide open on them. Just have to get him the ball.

Garland missed a tough lay-up after breaking the press but Zack comes in with a tip-in and-one.
Am I nuts for thinking he has a legit shot at getting a serious NBA look?

We're not going to see JW the rest of the way obviously. He could have gone for 40+ today. 21 points on just 9 FG attempts. 8 for 9 from the field, 5/7 from the FT line. That is awesome.

72-42 with four minutes to go. I think this one is obviously done. If it's not, then I don't want to see it.
Last play I got to see: Taylor Dunn making magic happen in the league with a no-look dish-off to Jermaine Davis who dunks it.

Final. La Salle 76 Penn 57. We were up 30 when we played the end of our bench/walk-ons. Deceptively close final score.
7-6 heading in to A-10 play.
