The penn announcers really did a reversal of field in the 2nd half, a 180. The frequent passive aggressive sarcastic attitude toward la Salle, faint praise, was put aside. They had some classy moments in the 2nd half.
I do not know whether penn is this bad. But they were awful.
We had an enormous personnel advantage and the game played that way for sure. Ty, tyreek an jerrell were sharp on O at times. Nice to see this.

We had 18 turnovers. However 6 of these were Lewis, Lewis and Davis. Sam had a bad day with the ball at 4. There really is no point guard with Duren on the bench.

Spanking Penn is terrific! But I do not think we beat GW with this kind of play -too many TOs and inconsistent D. i think we will have to execute better.

Agree the victory is great and by a wide margin. My point on the turnovers is that if take away those of players with limited time and junk time at the end it was better than 18. The TOs for Sam and Kalid should not be that high as they are better than that.

Nice win over an over-matched Penn team. But, with the exception of the non-league game against Temple, La Salle plays all teams with winning records the rest of the way.

Fast Eddie was in attendance today. Explorer was not his feisty energetic self, needed some coffee.

What is up with Penn stat crew? Had La Salle for only 9 assists on 24 baskets? I don't know the NCAA definition for assists but yesterday didn't pass the eye test.
Weird stat line in a blowout. La Salle had twice as many turnovers as assists. (9 ast- 18 turnovers).
Penn is in sad shape. Team is a disaster. No crowd. No students, band or cheerleaders. In fairness, La Salle didn't have much of a student turnout and no band. Cheerleaders were there. Can't remember last time a home team didn't have cheerleaders and the away team did.
Is Jerome Allen gone after this year? The AD is done at the end of the school year.

Students are on winter break. I was surprised la salle had their cheerleaders and the explorer. I didn't think the crowd was bad considering no students were there.

Aren't schools still out? Explains the student attendance. Also, the crowd on TV looked pretty decent for pretty crappy weather hours before an Eagles playoff game.
No way we had nine assists. I thought the ball movement was terrific yesterday. A lot of FGs did come because JW posted up and took his time to read the defense, so those shouldn't be assists. 18 turnovers might be right but that's because play gets pretty sloppy when you're up 30 with an entire half of basketball to go.
