The GW doesn't look as good as previously thought. They are overrated. I couldn't help but notice on the broadcast last night when they showed the standings that we were GW's only loss and GM's only win. What an enigmna this team is. Yes, in a nutshell.

Mason really surprises me...great facility, good area, recent Final 4 history, and yet they stink...goes to show you how much a coach can impact a program at the collegiate level. Laranaga goes to South Beach, and Mason goes South also.

The A-10 is just completely nuts this year. It really makes zero sense. G's comments about the talent level among teams is really true. VCU's the lone exception.

Usually once February rolls around, and the Super Bowl is done, the "Bracketology" stuff kicks in to high gear. Will be interesting in a week or so to see what the initial reads are on how many teams the A-10 gets in to the tournament.

I just checked ESPN and said Final, I guess it was premature. My bad.

UMass downs Dayton, 66-64, Mason beats SLU in a basement battle...the theme this year in the college hoops, nobody can win on the road...

Davidson is going to be the team to beat in two years. They have a lot of talented freshmen and Gibbs will be a very good senior.

The A-10 is going to have a hard time getting more than 2-3 tournament teams this year.

Feels weird to say but I think this may be better for his NBA chances. Someone will bring him in for the story of his recovery as it will be a feel good story. I would highly doubt he doesn't get a look from someone as long as he's healed.
