Putting this up now due to early tip tomorrow. Game is on local TV affiliates. (SNY in NY, I believe TCN in Phila. area)
Tomorrow could be the last game of the season. It's always important to remember that. Team is coming off probably their best win of the season, however that was right after probably their worst loss of the season. So who knows.
Due to early tip time, I'm unable to go to game tomorrow. I'm going Saturday to the Semis, would love to see La Salle there. Gotta start tomorrow.
FIGHT ON EXPLORERS!

Roller coaster of a season, but let's keep that weirdness going and start piecing together a run.

I wrote Dr. G an e-mail the other day. I told him that I was really proud of this team despite their struggles because they did the most important thing -- they represented the school well and are just a real pleasure to watch and talk to.
Naturally, he sent me back a very nice e-mail as well thanking me for this.
He's a great guy.
Karma. We're due.

Gameday, I would expect to continue to play the way we did against the Hawks, let's keep JW on the floor, Sam please look for your shot, TD needs to take over when we hit a rough patch and hit your free throws. Let's make a run.

As a team, the Explorers score just 67.6 ppg, second-worst in the A-10, and still give it all back, as they allow opponents to put up 67.9 ppg. The Explorers are hampered by their poor shooting, as they connect on just 40.9 percent of their field goal tries, second only to Fordham for the bottom spot in the conference. The Bonnies can certainly score but their defense has been suspect, particularly during their four-game slide when they've given up over 82 points per game. While the Explorers have had their offensive struggles, they have some momentum and hope to capture some of last year's post-season magic. I am here. Awesome facility. Pretty empty. They blacked out the top section with black curtains.

They aren't selling beer inside, right? Pretty bad selection either way but down the street there's some greatness.

Also, I absolutely hate conference tournaments as most of them are constructed. Does the A-10 really make any money having these games played in front of 500 people or so at a 20,000 seat arena? I can sort of see the finals but that's it -- and even that is a dubious bet.
That format really takes any of the fun out of college hoops.

I will be doing updates for the first half, as I'm on my lunch break. After that I'll be watching, but not at my computer.
14:44 to go. 10-3 Bonaventure.

G freaking out. Screaming stomping smacking his thighs with both hands. It is embarrassing. We have no O whatsoever.

Man, this is a really bad start. They can't get a thing going on offense. Their bigs are making jumpers, too.

G took out JW cause he dribbled it off his foot and out of bounds. This is NO TIME to teach him a lesson. Bonnie's play tough D but we r easy to defend.

Hard to run a dribble-drive offense when guys aren't driving.
