Kale? I could give a flying F at this point that Steve Zack just got his 14th double double to lead the A-10. That has nothing to do with anything at such a critical juncture. Come on Kale.
And now this gem from Kale: "I can't say that La Salle has played a bad game today..." Are you kidding me?

He's just trying to be complimentary at a tough crossroad for the seniors. I also think he was referring to simply the offense and shooting at a good clip.

One player dribbles around 4 of our defenders..
Peterson still jacking up 3's and missing…
And a losing season… Simply amazing...

I don't want to rehash how bad it's been this season, everyone knows. Thanks to our seniors for some great basketball these last few years.

Well folks, it's been real. Still can't believe that last year was, well, last year. Thanks to the seniors for 2-3 memorable seasons - NIT and NCAA tournament appearances, Sweet 16... That's all that matters in the end, not this lost season.

When does free agency begin? Think we can find some pieces in the draft?

G in the A-10 tourney must be 1-10. he never gets out of the first round. tough year. heading into the year, i viewed garland as the replacement for galloway the way galloway replaced pettis the year before. garland had a bad year. no ways around it. it is a shame.

Rough. Gonna miss Duren big time, kid was probably the single most important player over the course of the turnaround.

We have all summer for a detached post mortem of 2013-2014.
Thanks seniors for a hell of a run. Program is much stronger and in a better position than when you arrived.

Thanks to the seniors for the great careers and holding up the la salle traditions. True class acts and I am glad they had all the successes that they did over their time at 20th and olney.
While this season and A10 tournament were a "let down" that was only made possible by a thrilling run that got the program back on the map. They gave the program what it needed to continue growing once they graduate and move on to the next phase of their lives.
Thank you to Duren, Mills, Dunn & Garland for all of the effort and character and the best 4 year stretch we have seen in at least 2 decades.

Not gonna say I'm upset that this season is cooked, but I'm bummed it's finally happening. Plenty of pieces were there, just couldn't get them to click at one time. Gonna miss the seniors, but I'm excited to see the youthful new guys that'll become the faces of the future.

Duren and Mills w/ the best 4 year winning percentage since a 1992-93 grad.

No post mortem yet. Just time to thank the seniors for so well representing LSU on ands off court. You tried very hard this year. Sometimes, the bounces do not go your way. Hold your heads high and do well in the last school semester. You will always be well remembered. Thanks again!

Anyone that wants to come on here and spew vitriol about this group of kids or coach clearly started following La Salle basketball in 2012. Don't just support the basketball team for its on court results, support the team because it represents your university and these young men did an admirable job in a pressure-packed situation the last few years. Probably better than any of us would have done at their age. Our kids graduate, have class and respect for their coaches and players and are all-around nice kids. Probably their biggest flaw as players on the court is that they were collectively all too nice and well-mannered but I would rather lose with dignity than win with a jackass.

Last time we won a game at the actu tournament side was 2008. Weirdly I think we were 3 and 0 in those first round games when they were at campus sites. Still always been a major weak point. Actually now that I think about it, the only other tournament win at the tournent site was in 2005, the upset over whoever it was. So 2.

And the other shoe just fell.
Hopefully, La Salle will take THIS off-season a lot more seriously than they did last off-season! You really suck.

Sad, yet not at all unexpected, end to a rough year.
I'm not taking a potshot here, but can anyone remember a player who had a more disappointing senior season than Garland did this year? Really rough.
I just hope he doesn't dwell on it too much. We all know what he will always be remembered for.

Conference Tournaments are stupid and for teams like us that under-achieve during the regular season to try and get lucky.

Hopefully, La Salle will take THIS off-season a lot more seriously than they did last off-season! You really suck. A big issue early in the season was Duren's injury that came as a result of him working TOO hard in the off season. Pretty sure Wright and Zack had their best seasons respectively thus far in their career and another step forward next year and both guys will at least be receiving regular evaluations from NBA scouts. we were 4 plays away from being a dramatically improved team this year versus the actual results and probably 4 plays away LAST year from being a dramatically WORSE team than the actual results. The program thanks you for your support.

Probably their biggest flaw as players on the court is that they were collectively all too nice and well-mannered but I would rather lose with dignity than win with a jackass. Hell of a point. It makes you wonder what if, although I wouldn't change a thing in hindsight. Nothing but respect and I hope their legacy will not be defined by only the Sweet 16 only, but by the culture change they helped usher in along with Earl Pettis, Rodney Green, and Ramon. Very adaptive bunch as we became players in the transfer market, some of the hardest workers, always rolled with the punches (those ugly Aaric days), and never heard an ounce of complaining. Going to be a sorely missed bunch. And I'm glad Taylor became a factor this season. Always worked his ass off, nothing but a great teammate. Well deserved.

And I'm glad Taylor became a factor this season. Always worked his ass off, nothing but a great teammate. Well deserved. If Taylor could've been a a bigger contributor in the stats department, I think he could've been the vocal guy they needed and would respond too, but it's hard to be the lead dog when you get limited time on the floor. The little bit I've seen of Schuler, I think he could be that vocal and energetic spark we needed this season even if he's only a freshman. Biggest Question for 2014/15 is, who has the ball in their hands when we need to get it in bounds to make a play to score and seal the game or make FTs? Duren was always my guy to give it to because he wouldn't make the "wrong" play even if he didn't make the shot every time. Even when Ramon was here.

Think you just pointed out the biggest flaw this squad faced. I'm curious to see how Jerrell and Steve respond to being top dogs on the squad, could see both being very vocal. I see Khalid having leadership skills too, with a bit of grit, which I think could be huge - but I'm not sure if that'll get to shine depending on the minutes he'll earn and his ability to score.

A disappointing season for sure, but probably even more disappointing from the players perspective. With all that being said, the seniors do need to be recognized and feted for how they brought a moribund program back to life. Without them, we'd be staring at 30 years and not having played in the NCAA's. Thank you for your contributions and your efforts.
