Curious as to where people are planning on sitting - I've got to buy 5 seats so I think my choice is already made

I'm spending the day/night in NYC so the bus doesn't do me any good - this might be the single most expensive La Salle basketball weekend in my life.

Where did you click over to the MSG info page? And do I order those tix on line or call La Salle? I want to share it with some people. Thanks

Thanks The link for the MSG seating chart and ticket prices was on the GoExplorer's ticket page. It was not linked directly to the MSG site. As far as I know, MSG has not made these tickets available for sale yet. You can only get them through La Salle and La Salle is only offering the $65 and $35 price points, so if you want to order now, it has to be through La Salle.

The La Salle-Stony Brook game starts at 11am with the Fordham-St John's game following approximately 1/2 hour after the first game is over. Early start is due to the Rangers playing there that night and they need enough time to convert it to hockey. If they decide to run a bus trip, it will probably have to leave no later than 8am and maybe earlier. I live in Lower Bucks so I'm just driving to Trenton and taking NJ Transit.

You can't beat NJ Transit for trips to NYC. I can be at Madison Square Garden in 90 minutes for $31 round trip (25 minutes to the Hamilton Station which has $7 parking and 65 minutes on an express train to Penn Station). That's only a half hour longer than it takes me to get to Gola.

Wish this game was a bit later, even like 1:00, so we could have some kind of pre-game festivities at a local watering hole, if only one could be located in that area.
With 11:00 though, that's gonna be pretty tough because most people will be coming from elsewhere, not getting in until pretty close to game-time.

Another option is Greyhound/MegaBus. Right now a MegaBus trip leaves 30th street every hour on the hour starting at 5am (2hr 15 min trip) arriving at 7th & 28th which is .3 miles from MSG. Tickets right now are $15 ish depending on the time you go. Return trips are about $11 and they run every hour as well in the afternoon.
This is pretty convenient for anyone else living in the city. Hamilton is definitely easier for anyone in jersey/north of NE Philly.

Round trip from Hamilton is $30. It's $31 from Trenton. The parking situation is also better at Hamilton (cheaper and more parking spaces).

I'm a big fan of Princeton Junction, personally. On the same line.
Thankfully, I have a sibling who lives in NYC.

I'm a big fan of megabus on the way home. Booked it for $1.00 as soon as the schedule came out. However, I advise you to leave an hour or two buffer on both ends if you are taking the bus because a 2 hours schedule can quickly get delayed. For the strict start time and to get served directly to MSG, I'm taking the train up there and feel that the train schedule is more reliable for getting into New York during the morning. Also, the megabus does not go directly to/from MSG anymore for those who have taken it in the past there. It now goes several blocks away. If anyone us going from 31st/JFK then the bus you take should be bolt bus for convenience.

Wondering the same thing. Would like to get my hands on about 10 tickets 10? Good luck. That's gonna be tough, I think, under one name. I'm looking to get 10 tickets too. I emailed the Ticket Office and apparently my name was added to a list of people to call when tickets go on sale. I said I needed 10 and didn't really get a response on that which could be good or bad.

I heard that there's been a significant jump in season ticket sales so there are going to be less individual game tickets available this year.
One thing I hope the ticket office will do is keep a tight control on who gets tickets for the St Joe's game at Gola. Give St Joe's the NCAA-mandated amount of visitor's tickets only (somewhere between 200-300). All remaining tickets should go to La Salle people only, especially after the stunt that St Joe's pulled during Rodney's senior year. They never made tickets available to the public for the game played the last day of the season at Hagan and the place was lucky if it was 2/3 full. It was done to keep La Salle fans out of the building and La Salle should return the favor because you know St Joe's will be doing the same thing again this year.
Quite frankly, it's a disgrace that the two St Joe's games aren't being played at the Palestra, and after hearing and reading articles where G went on record that he wanted both games at the Palestra, it isn't hard to figure out what happened.

Anyone getting the VIP package? I might get season tix for the firs time in probably 10 years and never thought I would actually by a full season just to make sure I can get to the games I want to go to, but I can't justify the extra $500 on top of the tix package at the moment, but I'd really like a real seat at the games instead of the bleachers since I fully expect to no longer be able to lay out up there like I used to.
And when you say significant jump, if they doubled the # of season tickets what would that bring the total to? I would guess maybe 500?

Crap. I might just do the solo season ticket. I'm sure I can finagle my way into sitting with my friends when they go to games.
