Crap. I might just do the solo season ticket. I'm sure I can finagle my way into sitting with my friends when they go to games. thinking i'll play the nomad card too. Especially since you get the recent grad discount - it's a no brainer. My seats for the past 5 seasons were in the blue package up in W5 which were terrible (but still worth the cost of like $100 with the recent grad discount) but I never had an issue with just sitting in the chairbacks in W5 except for maybe 2-3 games. This year I decided to make the jump to the Gold package in W2. Hoping it gets me out of the corner for the Temple game too (not holding my breath).

When the season starts we should set up a ticket thread where people can buy tickets from season ticket holders through Paypal that way the buyer is protected. Season ticket holders can say what games are available and people can pay them through Paypal and the ticket holder can call ticket office and put tickets in your name. It is also a good way to almost guarantee La Salle fans are getting the tickets.
I may buy the season tix but I know the wife wont let me go to all of them.

Quite frankly, it's a disgrace that the two St Joe's games aren't being played at the Palestra, and after hearing and reading articles where G went on record that he wanted both games at the Palestra, it isn't hard to figure out what happened. i wish La Salle and G would just say screw SJU (PA) (really martelli) and just play our home play at the Palestra and allot no tickets to SJU (PA). wishful thinking but all this change does is hurts the fans who want to attend. i am not getting season tix but check the website everyday to ensure i know when sju (pa) game tix go on sale. So many people are going to be shut out b/c of martelli. it is a shame.

To be fair, we really have no basis for blaming Phil MArtelli, or even St. Joe's, for any of this. We really have no idea exactly what went in to the decision.

We really have no idea exactly what went in to the decision. i honeslty believe it came down to martelli and SJU (PA) not wanting to play at the palestra b/c they are under a ton of pressure to win. i also asked someone in the lasalle basketball community why no palestra this year and the reason was given SJU (PA) wanted their home game back at Hagan. i think there is basis.

PhilaHoops people and City of Basketball Love writers, ask around next time you're doing a story on SJU (PA.)

I think that's more popular opinion. It's easier and more fun to point the finger wildly, but I'm sure there's much more between the lines than we'll ever know.
