Only one team comes out of this tournament happy every year.
La Salle has got nothing to be ashamed of here. Great year and they represented us well in the tournament.

It's been real. La Salle is back on the map. We should be in a position to not have to wait 20 years between tournament appearances. The school will benefit, the athletic department will benefit, the basketball team will benefit.

Fans should stay to give the team a hand for the season.

Yeah, I'm not happy, but I'm not mad either. If going into this season you promised me a Sweet 16 in the next decade I would have accepted without pause. Great run.

The after season will be the most enjoyable in decades. Program is back, now capitalize on it. 3 wins in the NCAA tourny. Sweet 16. La Salle respectable again.

No shame at all. Wichita State was ranked 15th earlier in the season for a reason.

We didn't lose a game we should have won tonight, but we also could very easily have folded and lost by 30. Even in defeat, they worked their asses off and made us proud.
What a season.

Phenomenal season. Wichita State was a bad match-up for us, but these guys fought hard to get back into it. Represented this school well every step of the way. We're back, even if tonight wasn't what we'd hoped.

So proud! Was not our nite but that happens. These kids and the coaches deserve our undying gratitude.Choked up-not because we lost, but because we achieved so much. The kids do not have the historical perspective to fully understand what this meant to the alumni and the School. This group will always be specially remembered. Lets Go Explorers! Sing the Fight Song before bed!

I'm sitting in my car reading all of this and Twitter and Facebook. I no longer think that I am one of a handful of people that cares about La Salle basketball and La Salle University. I don't think I can ever root for a team like this again. Not ashamed to admit that I'm crying a bit because of how happy this has made me. And it's not the first time I've gotten misty eyed these past two weeks.
Thank you, everyone.

There are only 8 teams that had a better finish than us this season, and only 1 of them won't end their season with a loss.

Really impressed La Salle fought back in the second half when the game could have gotten out of hand. I know it sucks right now, but you guys won the second half. The first half was just too one-sided.
I enjoyed learning so much about your program in the last week. I loved seeing Coach Marshall speak with Galloway for a few seconds after the game ... I'm fairly sure he was wishing him luck in the NBA. His 3 range is incredible.
I think you guys had a great shot to beat a lot of Sweet 16 teams ... just wish you didn't have to play us. We have our flaws, but we were too much of a counter for you. Your shooters actually played very well considering how strong our defense was, and you guys did a great job adjusting to our interior play and making us play the perimeter more in the second half. Any team that was going to try to outscore you without great defense was going to be in for a hell of a game.
Sweet 16 is a hell of an accomplishment. And losing only one senior, I can't wait to see you guys in next year's tourney.

I must be one of the few that thought we could win this; at least before the game started. Somewhere we lost the chip on our shoulder and played tenative in the 1st half. Peterson,Browm and Mills combined for 7 pts and 0 assts in 90 minutes. On the bright side, how would we react next yeat if we won the whole thing? This would become one big "bitch board",and very few of us would be satisfied with our play ever again. Wright could have a 20/10 season before he leaves. Let's get that transfer and another player who can step right in and give serious minutes. Good luck Roman and Garvin!

And they did it with class. No woofing or grandstanding. Just hardnosed, fundamentally sound basketball. Looking forward to watching you send Ohio State home on Saturday.

Great year for team and school and future looks good. We got beat by a good team who just had to much size. I don't give them much of a chance against Ohio State because believe it or not I think we outscored them when J.Wright was in game and got killed when he wasn't on floor. Wright seemed to have little trouble with their bigs the only problem was he had little to no help. Rohan Brown is to small and inexperienced to be expected to cover players who are three inches taller and 30 lbs heavier. Wright who I always felt would be a very good player may actually be an extremely good player before he finishes at 20th and Olney. Rohan keep your head up you did OK and are starting to come along and have a nice future with this team.

I really don't know what has happened with TD3 these last few games. He's gone from being a strong floor general, to someone content to passing up shots, not looking for the creative pass etc. He only dropped 19 on ole miss the other day. He does not turn in bad games.
