Unless they get steals off of a press this d is a fundamental mess.

Ridiculous we are struggling against this team. It is frustrating they stink. But we seem to be proving the same about us.

We have had a bunch of chances to take the lead, with the ball, down 1, and haven’t converted on any of them.

Poor Execution --untimely TOs, missed fouls shots, defensive lapses not the mark of a very good basketball team. Lets get lucky and win this thing!

Couple of close calls go our way at the end, and we escape with the W. I'll take it

The hawk is dead once again. Got to love a season sweep.
Ray was just all over the court today and it showed. Kid is tough as nails.
Obviously, not the cleanest game. 2nd half was much better than the first. Games like this are tough when its a rivalry no matter how bad SJU has been this season. It was a joke they were looking for the refs to bail them out. They had a wide open look and missed it.
Just a side note, Daly looked completely uninterested in finishing that game. He was clearly aggravated with someone on the bench.

If only we had a won a few more winnable conference games... could have been a NIT season. Ash really needs to hit recruiting trail this off-season.

Was able to listen but not watch. I actually hit both the first half line and the live bet game line at halftime so 💰.
Get one win in Brooklyn.

So a 5 game increase in wins; losing a key player with a few games to go and all while the freshmen played significant minutes and he hasn't advanced this program much? I'd say you're not being very objective. Bonus: Per Kale, we beat the Hawks twice for the first time in the regular season for the first time this century.

Nice to see the kids catch a break. Gritty win; not a thing of beauty but loved how they stepped up and made plays at the end!

Always great to beat SJU.

(meant in humor but I wonder if the kid is enjoying himself....)

I'm sure we'll be close to that kind of won-loss record next year! 😁

There is nothing tangible I can point to and say, we are good at this or that I can use to predict we are ascending. That is all. Not saying fire Ash just saying we really haven’t improved all that much since he came on board. I can’t take solace in sweating out a 1 point win to a 6 win team. I am not killing those that can. I just can’t.

Not just only a key player, a player that was essential to how the offense and defense was being run. Kimbrough really deserves a lot of credit. I mistakenly gave up on him to a certain extent and I was wrong. It seems losing Ed might not be as big of an issue but it's early. The team has to work on being more cohesive on their switches and screens with him gone but another fixable problem with practice. Like most of the season, they continue to defend the perimeter very well. Overall, I'm content, not ecstatic by any stretch. In my eyes, an overall .500 season with this inexperienced of a roster deserves some praise. At the end of the day, I think we should be optimistic about this cores future going forward with Howard. Also, glad Billy Lange has it all figured out.

Nice to get the win. The three Freshman, when on the court together, looked good and were very composed. We attacked the rim, much like we did against the Bonnies. Crashed the boards, and looked for shots in the lane. Need to attack on Thursday night as well. Happy for JK. Played his heart out today, and came up big. Nice job.

Are you that stupid that your reading comprehension is that low? You come on here and bash the team left and right. All I said was that they have improved over last year and they have, especially when you take into consideration the large number of minutes that the freshmen played. But no, you're to busy ripping this team every chance you get. Such a small, little man you must be.
