Northwestern just has too many weapons for us. They went 10 deep in the first half - wore us right down.

Northwestern runs offense. We run shit.
We are playing like we did against Penn. Now we see what happens when we play a real team. Going to be a long season unless we get some real improvement from others on this team besides BJ and Pookie.

Too easy to defend against us. Only have two consistent threats in Pookie and BJ. To have any real success, Phiri and Deas have to become more consistent scorers.

Superb end of half coaching by G. Have Pookie hold & hold, followed by a long miss due to lack of movement by anybody. lol. Then Collins shows coaching and a score, followed by the G "attack". lol. I guess G wanted a two for one possession at the end of the half, which can work with decent coaching/execution.

Getting out-rebounded by 9, our interior defense sucks, AND, our two bigs have 5 fouls between them. oh joy

We could be seeing a lot of Cian, Kuhar, Cooney, Deputy Sheriff Garrett Bragg, and Peter the Mortgage Guy on the court for us this second half.

Playing realiy well now. Probably won’t mean a win but it’s still encouraging.

Defense is figuring out what NW is doing offensively. Saul's 3 goes in and out. That would have been big.

My God how many times are we going to lose our man on the top of the key screen? Doubt we will ever defend that play. I am praying for an errant meteor strike. Macintosh might still hit the shot though

Amar's inability to shoot was and is a major problem.
I just don't see how we can win with him as the point guard getting 35+ minutes. Am I being too hard on him?

Airplane lands, wheels hit the tarmack. Checks score immediately. Realizes a 4 hour flight sitting next to a stone-cold, babbling drunk wasn't so bad.

I Can't lay our woes/mdeiocrity on just 1 guy MIK. My pet peeve is an Offensive approach that I feel fails to really get the best out of its guys. Heading off the ND--- Navy. This game has earned me a beer.

I think Amar does a lot of good things. He defends, doesn't turn it over and can get to the rim. We could live with his subpar shooting if we had 1 more consistent scorer. Need to get more from Phiri or Deas. I don't see us getting scoring from the post so unless we get more from our wings, there are too many spots defenders can sag off of and double BJ and Pookie. That said, I give the team credit for playing hard and tough in the second half.

We have been mediocre at best the three years he has been the point guard.

Probably right. He is a good kid who does some things well but his shot is very problematic with the roster we have.
