If you don't see why your comment is over the line, I can't help you. You went well beyond anything having to do with the coaching record or tenure here. Multiple people complained to me, which isn't always the deciding factor, but in this case I agreed with them.

I propose we try a moratorium on pro or anti G discussion until he starts losing winnable games AGAIN. So do we play an exhibition game this year?

14 or 15 seems about right to me. Sadly, that's probably right on the money.

However many wins gets us to the noon game on Thursday in the A-10s.

19 wins, 20 if we can steal a game from St. Joe's.

KenPom is up and running for this season.
He has us at 13-16 (8-10). His model leaves off the two second day games in CT and Ireland since our opponent is unknown.
His preseason prediction last year was off by 1 game FYI (nailed our A10 record).

Seems right in line to me. I'd like to see a game or two better, but I'm legitimately shocked at some of these predictions I'm seeing from people here (even factoring in a healthy amount of optimism). We lost quite a bit from a team that wasn't much to write home about last year record-wise.

Maybe this is the one year in every 8 that a G coached team surprises us in a good way. I say minimum of NCAA Final 4 this year. Cheers!

16 or 17 wins. If Stukes repeats last year's stellar performance. (and if Tony is 100% as G said).

But that’s fine too. What’s not fine is the inevitable barrage to tantrums from people who made unreasonable predictions that their expectations aren’t being met when we lose a few games.

I think the solution for the things we did bad last year (defensive rebounding, FG% against) have been more "it has to get better" than "here's why it'll get better", so I'm hovering near the .500 overall mark. Maybe a little more luck than last year ticks it up a few, but I don't know that I see any reason to project 20 wins.

The last time BJ played in a senior season, we won the 4A State Title. I'm stating tourney bid (A-10champs) shocking all the naysayers. You have to believe!!!I believe that we will WIN! A little Mojo always helps!!

I picked 19, 20 if we win one of St. Joe's games. I expect big years from Pookie and BJ and hope that better team chemistry gets us a few more wins. I'm not going to look to place blame if we don't get to my number as I'm a fan and my number probably reflects that fact. Go 'splorers!

CBS Sports has La Salle ranked 92 out of 351 teams. Interesting.

14 wins unfortunately. Was hoping to see someone emerge to be a third leg of the stool this year. Just don't see it. To make it worse, our schedule is very tough. I think .500 is your upside scenario.

CBS Sports has La Salle ranked 92 out of 351 teams. Interesting. SI.com has us ranked 95th, and of course, has a big mistake in that it lists Demetrius (sorry Tony) as one of our returning players.

CBS Sports has La Salle ranked 92 out of 351 teams. Interesting. I would interpret 92 as meaning that we have an outside shot at the 4 letter tournament if a key few games go our way. If everything goes as predicted it would mean the NIT. If we perform below expectations it means no post-season and "the" search begins.

Would that be the search for answers to the season? Or maybe "the" search for the meaning of life? Could it be "the" search for intelligent life in the universe? Perhaps it's the "search" for a good cup of coffee? So many possible searches. Could you clarify?
