Only thing that will turn this around is getting both Davis and Williams in foul trouble. Both have 2 at the half, and they have 24 points too.

Truly an embarrassment… A lot of street ball, poor decisions by players and coaches.. We are back to 2010-11… However with all of that being said, the upgrade in talent on next year's rosters will be so much better than what we have now… The guard's 1-4 will be much better than this year's crop.. Duren will be really the only one that will be missed.. Wright and Zack better get their crap together… Zack needs to be focal point of our front court and develop a mid range jumper he has one summer to do it.. Two things: Why are we talking about next year in the middle of tonight's game? We have no proof that next year is an upgrade over this year as you're inferring.

If you follow the program to any level, then you know of the talent coming in next year. I will be happy to educate if you want?

There is talk about next year because it is pretty evident that this season is pretty much over. At this point something would drastically have to change for us to make the NIT. Meaningful postseason (NCAA or NIT) is not gonna happen. And you're right on your second point, we have no clue. But it would be very difficult to look as dysfunctional as we do this season. But only time will tell.

I wish Grande could have called a game that we showed up for, he's too good at pointing out our deficiencies.

Team lacks a batman, duren and garland are the boy wonders. Team lacks structure on offense and without a Galloway you get what we have this year mediocrity. It is painful we have talent but lack the structure to bring it all together. Sad but true.

We might have the worst hands in college basketball. We can not grab the ball. It's unbelievable.

Second time we played a good A-10 team on the road who were playing down a man (GW and UMASS) and got absolutely smoked. Team is finished. It's a shame and none of us wants to admit it, but it's reality if you just watch the games.

Magic (sic) is going to fall to SLU tonight. That should stop the tournament talk over there for this week. If we aren't going anywhere they aren't.

Final. 79-67 UMass.
I got home just before halftime and saw how things were going. Just followed on the game thread, didn't even listen, so I'm not qualified to comment on the game itself.
But things are getting pretty rough. Halfway through the A-10 slate, and 3 of our 4 wins are against Duquesne and URI. With SLU, 2 with Joe's, Richmond, Dayton, another Bonnies game, Mason and Fordham left. They're gonna be lucky to get to 8-8 in the A-10.
The teams performance is incredibly disappointing this year. I'm not going back down the rabbit hole from last week, but for whatever reason, they never built up much of a pulse this year. Playing and winning at the Garden, and the whole College GameDay experience were remarkable (including finally beating Temple) but, wow. I for the record don't think they quit, or don't play hard, I just think they've had a lot of guys not perform to the level we'd hoped for this year.

Our lack of athleticism was exposed tonight by a long and athletic team. I overestimated our talent level failing to recognize that we don't have one explosive athlete. Our inability to shoot the 3 has also surprised me. Not sure where we go from here but hope we find a way to finish strong.

I made the comment last week that G is not a very good coach. I expected to be blasted since he get's so much love on this board. Still feel the same way. Can't decide if it's him or the players aren't good enough. Have said all year that the team doesn't have that go to guy. The only players that have played to their potential this year are Duren and Zack. Wright is too one dimensional. Mills made one 3 at the beginning of the game and then disappeared as usual. Peterson is no non factor offensively. The only player to pick their game tonight was Lewis. And the best part of our game, defense, took the night off.

G has not adjusted well to his talent this year. We run nothing on offense and G admitted as much in his interview with Joe. But in g's defense we can not shoot to save our lives. It is the perfect storm of mediocrity.

Recorded the game and just finished watching. The defense was lack luster to say the least. Could not get a stop. Allowed Willians to stroll to the basket. No transition defense, even after a made basket. The is not coaching but lack of hustle.

Someone text Gianinni or one of his 4 useless assistants about that shot clock violation. Sean Neal and Mills (or maybe Dunn) both were screaming about it. announcers didn't see them It is a reviewable call so why didn't he do something to push the issue with the refs?
