59th Kenpom, 6th in A-10. I imagine Lunardi has them as a strong 9, right?

I remember 2. One was related to Bembry and the other said: next exploration: CBI we don't explore that ish; didn't we turn down invitation to CBI a few years ago? Hawk fans should also keep in mind that there was no real upheaval in conference tourneys last year to steal at-large bids away from teams on/near the bubble. that was an anomaly. I recall watching the SEC tourney and a couple other games last year like it was baseball pennant chase games and everything broke our way Ghost of 2007 Metropolitans.....

Odd stat of the game. La Salle had 11 steals and sju (pa) had zero. 1st time an LSU opponent had 0 steals since January 20th, 1998 against Dayton. Our starters that day: Reds, Donnie, Gizzi, K'Zell and Bragg. Victor, Jordan and Olof off the bench. It was a pretty long time ago!

He's probably too busy rewriting his "Why St. Joe's Belongs In The Big East" lobbying job masquerading as Bracketology piece.

Absolutely give credit to the boys. Wright did his Moses Malone thing and then Duren took over down the stretch. Mills with a real nice stat line. Garland with a new under control game. Odd stat of the game. La Salle had 11 steals and sju (pa) had zero. Nice win over the joey's. I guess you can call 3-8 FG shooting, no 3PT attempts, 2 TOs under control.. for Garland. He needs to shoot enough to keep the D honest, but not enough where he looks like AI in his late NBA years. You wouldn't want a game like that all the time from him? Had 2 assists and a steal also. Comcast highlighted him as the "one" in the "box and one" on Galloway.Seems like he played pretty defense yesterday. Sam also was a "one" and too did a real nice job yesterday.

Kind of a mild surprise today. It looked like St. Joe's gave up playing disciplined basketball, which plays right into La Salle's hands.
I guess it's St. Bonaventure on Thursday for us. That is the most painful positive comment I've ever read. You can actually feel the agony.

Probably had a whole barrage of how "this team or coach sucks or is embarrassing" all locked and loaded and when, lo and behold, they come up with a pretty damn good game and some pretty damn good in-game adjustments (I know, shocking) to win said game, this is the best he could come up with without sounding like a complete tool. Oops, failed in that mission.

I sometimes wonder why he's still allowed to hang around, only post in the negative and in all caps, but that's not my mess to clean up.

I noticed the article by Marcus Hayes in which he stated as to the A-10 "The league is not that good" If you look at the brackets we have 6 teams in along with the Pac 12 and the Big 10. Only the Big 12 has more at 7. Depending on which rating system you look at the conference is 6th or 8th. Live-Rpi which seems to closly mirrow the NCAA RPI has the conference 6th with 8 teams in the top 100. What is he watching.

Apparently, we had a good showing at Tom Hagen Fieldhouse yesterday, I know La Salle had some last minute tix avail last week...
"Way too many LaSalle fans in the building for my liking and they were vocal. In fact, one was sitting right next to me. At least he was being respectful and not obnoxios. I know the students are on break, but I hate when the Filed House isn't full and the opposing team's vermin slithers into the available seats."
"...especially since there were lasalle fans in our student section screaming at our players during their free throws and nothing was done about it."

Actually, if he played exactly like that every (hopefully more than one) game in the A-10 tourney - I would feel great about our chances at a run.

I loved the La Salle fan behind the basket dressing in the Powder Blue Sweater. He was up fist pumping and yelling. Check him out on the La Salle video of yesterday's game. I loved it when he did the offensive foul call.

Turned on the car to Martelli's droning voice (shame on me for not changing the station before I turned the car off). Described La Salle as "not good, not bad, but they're just playing basketball."
A) Nightmare scenario unexpectedly hearing Martelli and Lunardi gabbing away B) Kiss my ass, both of you. C) Maybe this no pressure situation we've played ourselves into is finally starting to help us out

Anyone see the band with the odd colored Christmas lights near them, it gave the feel of a dive bar or whore house.

My only regret is that G didn't have the guys playing a zone in other key match-ups this season. It was almost embarrassing in the Fordham game when the tv announcer stated "the Explorers are not playing the correct defense, they are too spread out!" If we play defense like that with Mills, Duren and DJP hounding the other team then we have a chance to win if Wright, Duren and Mills are all in a groove offensively.
