Never thought we would be leading by 10 at the half. Can we avoid the 7 minute fg drought in the second half and actually have a chance at a W?

St Joes looks dogged. Their Interior D was awful. A decent shooting team is winning by 20. keep the prayers coming we have a second half to sweat through.

You guys no what will happen in second half we have watched all season big leads disappear only to lose on a last second shot. Hope it doesn't come to that but yes I expect it will. Final Joey's 72-71 for like the 5th heartbreaking loss of the season except it won't be heartsbreaking because we are used to it.

I was pretty sure I misheard Kale when he said the Hawks suddenly found themselves down 32-21. I want so badly for this to turn into a beatdown on Hawk Hill. Just think what that could do for the team's collective psyche going into Brooklyn. Yeah and even if it doesn't translate into anything else going forward, it would be a win over St. Joe's in their building. And that would be nice in and of itself. DITTO! Even if St Joes perks up in the 2nd half maybe we do the same. Our O has not exactly been stellar

Finally. Duren is controlling the ball every play like he should have been all season, beating his man into the paint and either driving or dishing to the open man. The way dribble drive offense is supposed to run. A lot of fun to watch when they plal this way.

If we didn't get a basket off that turnover I'm not sure if we score before the 12 min mark

7:15 to play. 50-42 La Salle. Zack has 4 fouls, so that will be a high wire act the rest of the night.

I hope we don't go stall ball down the stretch here. We need to keep attacking the basket.

Hawks could be right there with us if they just hit some foul shots.

1:33 to go. 60-53 La Salle. Timeout St. Joe's (of PA).
Just make smart plays, no turnovers, hit Free Throws. No VCU repeat.

Good job getting the ball to Duren's hands late in the game. He's cold-blooded on the line.

It would be great if we stopped fouling them.

Let's make some noise in Brooklyn.

Nice thing too, maybe now that both teams lost on their own floor, and looked bad doing it, the two schools can stop this nonsense and get the game(s) back to the Palestra.

Listened into the game. It sounded like they played their best game of the year at the end of the season. Great to beat the Hawks on their Senior Day.
Maybe they catch some lightning in a bottle and get hot. They're due in this most mysterious of seasons.
