I don't have anything, but new week, new thread.
Getting real close to basketball season. Starting to get pumped.

Can't post links from my Kindle but check out COBL editor Josh Verlin's Twitter page. He visited today's practice at La Salle and had nice things to say about Jordan Price, Cleon Roberts, and Steve Zack. Said Price will be a force in the A10.

Can't post links from my Kindle but check out COBL editor Josh Berlin's Twitter page. He visited today's practice at La Salle and had nice things to say about Jordan Price, Cleon Roberts, and Steve Zack. Said Price will be a force in the A10. Here is the sequence of tweets kjmac is referring too - twitter.com/jmverlinJosh Verlin ? jmverlin 9h Wow, Jordan Price is playing well. Hitting everything from the floor, gets into the lane, strong defender. Going to be a force in the A10. Josh Verlin ? jmverlin 9h Cleon Roberts and Jordan Price both making a lot of plays so far. Both will be eligible next year and bring a LOT to this practice. Josh Verlin ? jmverlin 9h Steve Zack looking very mobile on the offensive end for the Explorers. 6-11 center in the best shape of his career. Josh Verlin ? jmverlin 9h Here at La Salle watching the Explorers practice. Looking forward to seeing Cleon Roberts and Jordan Price in action.

I can't wait to see an improved Garland also. Tyrone really didn't hit his stride until the end of the season and excelled obviously in the Tournament. Tyrone's consistency will help Wright, Zack and the other bigs get open looks at the hoop.

Also just noticing that Marshall Henderson is #35. Because i guess 17 PPG (and literally nothing else of value) on 25 FGA per game is good on whatever planet CBSSports.com is on...

crazy to see Russ Smith at #4. How did we have a run at that kid? did we just get in early before the big schools came knocking? Appreciate the fact that he didn't declare and is going to finish his education. class act.

Well I tried....
Seth Greenberg ?@sethonhoops 51m The Rutgers administration must understand there is an arms war going on in college basketball. They must Build facilities!
Mike Petty ?@petty3856 47m @sethonhoops can you pass that sentiment onto La Salle also please
Seth Greenberg ?@sethonhoops 43m @petty3856 I can pass it on but I'm not sure anyone is listening. Solution; pass the plate around one more time.

How the hell does Boise State have 11 votes.

reading the lsit of coaches who vote - there are a number of them that have relatively close ties with our program or will have ties to our program and are probably more familiar with us than most of the others.
I am convinced that if we get off to a really strong start, we could get firmly planted in or around the top 25 all season.

How the hell does Boise State have 11 votes. What do you mean? They are the only team in the tournament last year with it's entire starting line up returning. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the top 25 at some point next season.

How the hell does Boise State have 11 votes. Lost almost no minutes to graduation, if I'm quick checking ESPN correctly.

I could have sworn that Aussie kid Drmic was a senior last year and they were losing his large chunk of points.

It is a bigger joke Georgia on that list as well as Temple.
Temple lost everything, yes I don't question Dunphy to bring forth a solid squad but Top 25 potential I completely doubt that.

I hope we win. Any idea if these 'secret scrimmages' are open to fans, or are these closed door deals?

Not sure what the obsession with Derrick Marks is. Drmic was the only Boise player that looked like he belonged on the floor that day last March. I'm willing to bet a lot of the national press only saw Duren play during the tournament, where his only big statistical game was against Ole Miss and his poor stat lines are being held against him. All I know is I wouldn't trade him for most of the guys on that list, including #2. Anyone know if TD was playing hurt in the tournament last year? I know he took some time off in the spring with a heel injury...

Here's a video of Ramon rapping. The language might not be for your tastes. But the end is pure Ramon and why he's such a great person. "Whoever knew I'd be in a different company chillin' with great people like ya'll? It's God sent."
I hope he never, ever, ever loses the joy he feels and brings.
