Just looking at the internet, and each of the last 2 years, it looks like it was released on September 6th. I doubt it will be released on Friday, so it could well be tomorrow, or probably early next week if if not.
I don't have any inside information, but it should be soon. And let's face it, we could use a new thread today.

Any idea when the TV schedule has historically come out?

Big East is releasing their schedule at 2pm today. I suspect the A-10 will be right behind them.

Mason has put their schedule out. We play them 2nd to last game of the year,Thursday 3/6 @ 8:00PM on NBC Sports.
If Mason's schedule is any indication, we can expect a LOT of TV games.

VCU peope have seen their schedule and said tremendous amount of TV games. Given we are in just about everyone's top 3 I would think we would also have a ton og games on the tube. Hopefully a lot of away games are televised.

The St. Joe's games are at campus sites is the bad news.
TV wise: VCU game on either ESPN or ESPN 2, SLU game on ESPN2. I count 4 A-10 games that are not going to be on any kind of national TV.

I count 4 A-10 games that are not going to be on any kind of national TV. I would think some of these would be picked up by Comcast.

Wow that's a lot of tv games...gone are the days of using random website to try to catch a game!

This is the effect of the new A10 deal and the addition of Fox Sports 1.
I think the only game comcast will pick up is perhaps the Villanova game maybe Penn State as well if it's not on the Big 10 network.
The paradise jam television schedule hasn't been figured out just yet. Most likely the opening round won't be on television but the game against either Providence/Vandy will be on CBSSports.
Great to see so many games on television but I can't say I am shocked at all.

CBS College Sports has the Paradise Jam. I do think the semi-finals and finals are televised.

This is awesome.
Also of note: All of the truly big home games in conference (VCU, St. Louis, St. Joe's) are on the weekend.
That VCU game will be absolutely epic if both teams are ranked. I actually wish that game was at The Palestra -- VCU travels like crazy and we could sell it out. But Gola will be awesome.
I kind of think I need to get season tickets. Only problem is that no one else I know will grab one. I might just grab one and sit w/ whoever I can wrangle for games outside of my assigned seating zone.

The school should also set up some sort of watch party system since so many road games are on TV. Maybe show all of the games at Dan Rodden or the ballroom for the students? Have a bar (JP's? Ugly Moose?) set aside for alumni watch parties?
This is truly awesome.

There will be several sell-outs this year and without a season ticket you probably will have trouble getting into the biggest games. Seats will be at a premium.

OK, now that I'm past the TV aspect, some thoughts on the actual games: First 7: GW,@duq, URI, @sbu,VCU, @gw, Duq Outside of the VCU game, that's a pretty soft opening. I know things change year to year, but that's 4 of the bottom 6 from the conference last year. They need 5 of those other 6 besides VCU, at least. The next 5: @umass, SLU, Joe's, @dayton, @richmond That's the stretch right there. Tough teams, tough places to play. Joe's is the weakest in that stretch, and that's a rivalry. Still should win at home, but clearly this is the key part of the season. Final 4: SBU, @fordham, Mason, joe's Lightens up a little at the end again.

Team will probably play between 18-20 TV games depending on how they play in A10 and Big Dance tourny. Don't want to jinx team but I believe they are just to good not to make the NCAA's with caliber of players and solid depth (9 players deep). Final record for season will be around 26-8.

I'm fortunate enough to live 15 minutes from campus and I also can work from home. Getting tough tickets hasn't been a problem yet. But things have changed.
Do the season tickets include Temple?

I'm 180 miles from Gola and I gave serious thought to season tickets. Just too many weeknight games I'd never be able to get to.

There will be several sell-outs this year and without a season ticket you probably will have trouble getting into the biggest games. Seats will be at a premium. Do you really think so? Maybe it's the La Salle pessimist in me but I still feel like I'll be able to roll up to the game of my choosing and grab a seat. I have a hard time with the season ticket commitment because I have no idea what the kids' schedules will look like come January and February. And like Coqui, I have no one to go to every game with me if I buy two seats. Mrs. Hoopsfan is a much more emotional and knowledgeable fan than I am, but she can't and won't go to that many games and even if she could, then we have to get babysitters and such. I suppose I could rotate the games between my kids. The point remains, though, how many games will it really be all that hard to get a ticket if you really want one? At the very least, i'm sure the scalper scene will be both comical and epic this season on Olney Ave!

Between Stony Brook @ 11, St. Joe's game 1 @ 11, and Temple at Noon (with Game Day starting at 10), it's gonna really test La Salle fans' morning drinking abilities.
As a friend of mine used to wear on a shirt: "You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning."

Question, does anyone know what kind of money school receives ( ) for being on local or nationally televised games.
