No times for all but 1 game yet. Tip-off marathon essentially confirmed, Garden confirmed, Temple date confirmed (will have to wait for ESPN regarding Game Day).

Rejoice.
Interesting that the Stony Brook game is indicated as @ MSG but the Temple game doesn't reference as being at the Palestra, so perhaps that isn't a done deal yet?
Also, that Manhattan game makes me nervous. I don't know why, but I hope our guys don't get into reading their headlines too much and turn it into the annual CCSU game

And to order tickets, we still have to email someone and await a response, or call during weekday business hours.
Disappointing.

I don't think by very much at all, I think $50 for the Blue plan is all it went up. granted on a % basis that's huge, but total dollars is pretty minimal.

I would love to get season tickets this year. So many games I want to go to. But I'm 3 hours away by car, and that's too far to realistically go to more than 1 or maybe 2 weeknight games without taking a full day off of work.

If the St Joe's games are played at campus sites (which is what Jonathan Tannenwald reported on Philly.com), then it looks like the season ticket will be for 15 games. Based on that: VIP Seats = $350 divided by 15 games = $ 23.33 per ticket, individual ticket sales not available Gold plan = $275 divided by 15 games = $ 18.33 per ticket, individual tickets cost $ 20 Blue plan = $200 divided by 15 games = $ 13.33 per ticket, individual tickets cost $ 15 Last year, Gold tickets were $ 15 and Blue tickets were $ 10, so they each went up $ 5 when buying individual tickets. I believe the increase for season ticket holders ends up being approximately $4 per ticket. Personally, I have no problem with it. La Salle basketball has always been the best sports bargain in town and this is the first time they've raised prices in as long as I can remember. Interesting thing I noticed regarding the St Joe's game(s) is that on the new updated ticket page on GoExplorers.com, they show the price for individual tickets at $35. That looks like the price of a Palestra ticket. So maybe G has elected to play La Salle's home game at the Palestra (good for him) or else Tannenbaum assumed both games will be played at campus sites without really knowing that for sure. goexplorers.com/sports/2011/9/26/GEN_0926111402.aspx?id=108

I was also told when I put my season ticket deposit down in May that I locked myself into last year's rate. Added bonus for anyone who did that.

does anyone know when tickets for individual games go on sale? I want to get a head start on the sju (pa) game since it appears it will be at gola.

Not sure why people are doubting Broderick's scoop. IMO, Temple tickets are priced that way to insure a sellout. That won't be a problem for the St Joe's game.

Or is it that SJU will be at Gola and so in order to match the same gross revenue on a tiered ticket price setup at the Palestra but more total tickets sold you have to sell all 3,500 tickets at $35 for SJU?
If I'm Doc, I tell Martelli he's free to play the game wherever he chooses but regardless we are playing at the Palestra and, no, we aren't going to split the gate with him. If they want to split the gate at the Palestra they can control the tickets for their home game, if they don't want to play there, that's fine but when it comes time to play at our place, we think we can sell 6,500 tickets to our fans and we will give you the usual allotment to do with as you see fit. This puts Martelli in a position where if a game is played on Hawk Hill it's because he wanted it that way but we stayed true to playing at the Palestra.
If ever there was a year we could sell 6,500-7,000 tickets only to La Salle fans it would be this year against SJU. I mean, we got 4,400 people to come see a bad PSU team on a weeknight at 9:00 last season, I think we could get 6,500 for SJU if it's a Saturday or a Thursday night even.
