Okay, that confirms it. The Sweet 16 run and all the good stuff that has happened since has all been a dream. The fact that Andy Katz wrote a complimentary article about La Salle proves it.

espn.go.com/ncb/notebook/_/page/summershootaround130806/atlantic-10This is the A10's day for Summer Shootaround on ESPN. The Katz article is part of that. The Power Rankings are an Insider thing, so I can only see that he's got VCU 1st. If someone can post where La Salle is, and maybe what he says about them, that would be great. DON'T post the entire thing, as it is paid content.

They have us listed as Third. Summary -- Galloway is gone but Tyreek, Tyrone and Jerrell could all average 15 points. Mentions Mills coming off the bench and that G is high on Lewis.

Very fair article, I agree.
I would we had 1-2 more Top RPI 100 games to replace the lower games.. Especially before the conference schedule came out which is fairly weak.
We will need to have a strong OOC. Which means at least two wins against Temple, Nova, Miami and Vanderbilt/Providence

On might argue we need to win all of those OOC games except maybe Nova.

So you don't think winning two of four, getting to the conference semi-finals or finals, and 20+ wins would get La Salle back in?

So you don't think winning two of four, getting to the conference semi-finals or finals, and 20+ wins would get La Salle back in? Fortunately, we could get the benefit of the doubt from the committee with our run last year. It depends on our wins in conference, it will be close. With how strong the middle of the conference is, I would hate being a team not getting a bye and trying to make the tourney.

win 2 of 4, finish in Top 3 and make Semi Finals in Tourney is probably enough to get the last selection for the A10, but we will once again be on the bubble if that's the case. I think winning at PSU and Miami might be paramount to getting selected because they will both have decent RPIs by virtue of their conference schedule even though Miami will not be nearly as good as last season, PSU will certainly be better. Interesting with both of these games is that we have revenge for a blowout loss and PSU has revenge for a blowout - hopefully we can pull both games out.
Certainly the run last season and the fact we have so many returning players will likely aid the votes we get in the selection room. It's always easier to just keep winning though.

The exempt tournament is looking more important each day.
