"Ever since their run to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament, the Explorers have been Philadelphia's darlings."
Did he really write that?
Nice Article. Fame is fleeting but I am looking forward to next year.

Didn't know about the meeting with Hopkins, that's really cool for the players.

Our guys are styling but someone needs to tell Jerrell to only button the top two on a three button jacket.

Hey, after that performance against Kansas State he can wear a Nehru Jacket and a beanie copter. I won't question his sartorial acumen.

Only on this board would you find a reference to a Nehru jacket. How much do you want to bet that GloryDays still has a Nehru jacket, leisure suit, and platform shoes stuffed in the back of one his closets, just waiting for them to become fashionable again.

Heck GloryDays has a Disco Ball for the lights in that closet.
Nice to have Bernard Hopkins on your side. How about him as Honorary Assistant Coach at a game this year? Are you listening Kevin B?

Tough crowd. OK, kj, you came close. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. I never owned a leisure suit. I grew out of the Nehru jacket 30 years ago and tossed it. My feet were too skinny for the platform shoes. I just couldn't walk with those damn things. They hit the trash in the early 80's.

I pick Jerrell over Bernard in a TKO. I can see Bernard hitting him with his best shot and Jerrell saying Bernard is that your best shot and Bernard replies I better go home now. In all seriousness Jerrell is built like a block wall and I would hate to have him get mad at me.

I saw the dink a few years back. I am sure it got tossed in my last move. I may be wrong on this but I think Bernard Hopkins now lives in Delaware. Wright is a tough looking hombre. Maybe he should take up the sweet science.

Off topic but maybe Bernard can help getting some of the Filthies in shape. Utley hits a double off right center field wall and Lannan gets thrown out at plate huffing and puffing his way the whole 3 bases from first. Please do Chase a favor and trade him so he can get away from many of these lazy losers he is forced to play with. I could just read Utley's thoughts when Lannan was thrown out at the plate in disbelief thinking how F...... slow and out of shape can you be. Like I said a week or two back this team is fundamentally so poor it is pathetic.
