We all know there is that one team that surprises everyone we were lucky enough to be that team this year in the A10.
So now that were a favored contender for the A10 along with VCU, Saint Louis and UMass....who is your wild card for next season?
and don't say Duquesne lol

GW is my pick as well, filled all the holes in their offense
Ugh as much as I hate Dayton there a close second

Got to say GW also. They are doing all the right things spending tons of money and brought in transfers. The big question is will they gel or will this blueprint go bust? So far they have had very poor results.

IMO, the A10 is going to be pretty strong from 1 through 11, and I can even see Duquesne surprising people because they are bringing in a large recruiting class that includes two solid forwards with D-1 experience (UAB transfer Ovie Soko and former La Salle recruit/URI player Dominique McKoy) and they return the best young point guard in the league in Derrick Colter. And that's who I have coming in 12th. Only St Bona returns less than the Dukes.
Every other team in the league returns a high percentage of points scored, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and minutes played and most bring in at least one or two recruits that should be able to contribute. George Mason, a team I don't know very much about, returns more than anyone in the league and they won 22 games last year.
Even with the loss of Xavier, Temple, Butler, and Charlotte, the A10 will be very good in 2013-14.

URI will be the sleeper next year. Too much talent coming in to URI

I'm leaning URI/GW. I honestly think Dayton has earned the right to not be eligible for "surprise team" status. I just expect them to be in the upper echelon every year

George Mason is my sleeper pick with everybody back from last year's CBI finalists.

This offseason for me was about filling holes. GW did that in my eyes. They had the defense but offense was weak.
Dayton will def improve offensively, think they might be top in the league. There issue was defense though last year, who is going to be their ace defender because besides maybe Matt Kavanaugh they have none.

Kills me to say it also, but Dayton. And GW.
I can't believe in UMass quite yet. Feel like they've be hyped up prior to a few seasons to deliver a dud.
