With Gary Neal getting ready to play in the NBA Finals (and we'll get in to that later), I did a search on probasketballreference.com and pulled up everyone tagged to La Salle.
I went through every guy (there were 22 in all) and here's what I came up with for guys who were on a Championship team SOMETIME DURING their Championship year. A few guys were on a team early in the year and weren't on the roster come playoff time. A few guys, especially early on, narrowly missed a ring, either coming to a team a year late, leaving a year early, or just losing to the Celtics a bunch of times in the Finals. I'll add some of that later this week.
For now, here's what I came up with:
Jack George- '56 Warriors Jackie Moore-'56 Warriors -was also on the '55 Syracuse Nationals that went on to win the title, but was sold to the Milwaukee Hawks mid-year. Tom Gola- '56 Warriors
Larry Cannon- '72 Pacers (ABA Title, up to you if you want to count it) Ralph Lewis- '90 Pistons (played 4 games in April, signed with Charlotte, was not with Pistons in playoffs)

Wasn't Rasual with the Heat when they won in 06 (I think that was the year they won with Shaq and Wade)?

I hope you weren't counting Gary Neal as an NBA player associated with LaSalle. I don't think any site lists LaSalle with him. He wants nothing to do with us...

I wasn't implying anything, I'm going to start a thread on him in a few days. It was just a fun little exercise for me.
Does anyone know of anyone else I may have missed? Gary Neal didn't show up tagged to La Salle, so maybe there was a guy who left us, played elsewhere and then when on to the ABA/NBA? I know a lot of you old-timers remember back to before they cut the bottoms out of the peach basket, so any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Why even start a thread on that guy? I don't care if we're coming off a Sweet 16 or a zero win season, maintaining that bridge only brings us down another notch.
