DJ's stat line at La Salle wasn't about ppg. In his two years at La Salle here are some of the things we can remember him by. -shooting 40% from 3 (2nd highest on the team) by only taking shots he needed to and hitting open players -playing every game in during his time at La Salle's including it's best season in 59 years -shooting over 90% from the ft line in 2012-2013 -The highest assist to turnover numbers of all players with 10+ assists 2012-2013 -A key to La Salle ranking #8 in the ncaa for 3 pt made / game with excellent perimeter D. -Making every shot he took against the Minn. Gophers in the NIT in 2011-2012 (alright this was 1-1 from deep, but still true) Above and beyond that, it could be argued that we wouldn't have beat K state without his hustle and awareness on a few loose balls or without Jerell knocking down those ft's at the end. I am sure I am missing some moments. feel free to share. Also it sounds like the Cleon Roberts may be official. If he is not red shirting and has great D he will fill the role nicely and create some FL chemistry.

Caron's a transfer, not a redshirt.

A real glue guy and team player who understood his role. Will be missed.

You had me until the Cleon comment. Cleon has to sit out next year unless he gets a waiver which is unlikely.

DJ's legacy for me?
45-23 3-2 in the postseason w/ 1 NIT and 1 NCAA appearance. Hard to argue with that.
DJ was a part of teams that won 45 games in 2 seasons, there are a lot of players who barely won that many in 4 seasons. Kid is a flat-out winner and will be missed, need to find a guy just like him and hopefully we will be able to see a late signing the way he was a late signee.

The great thing about the landshark was that it came before we beat Ole Miss, not after.
