Perhaps G user that last scholarship here. Would love to grab one. How about that? I speculated about this a couple of weeks ago. I will say that this will be interesting because Green and Tanksley are extremly good friends. Green picked Niagara so he could be on the same team as Tanksley.

Accurate to say Green is the better player and Tanksley (6'6) is the better fit for the roster? Or is Green good enough that it doesn't matter?

You never know who G will come up with next but in regards to Green and Tanksley I would be surprised if both ended up at the same school again. Both are good players and will help any school they do attend outside of a powerhouse. Can you say transfers GALORE.

Both are good players and will help any school they do attend outside of a powerhouse. Can you say transfers GALORE. Goodness so much transfer news going on... Green is the much better player between the two... Unless there was some hardship waiver, he couldn't play immediately. Roberts 6'5/6'6 length can allow him to be the Peterson-like "PF" if G decided to go 4 small.. which creates a lot of possible playing time for any other guard newcomer in the transfer market or 2014 class. Green is the much better scorer between him and Khalid Lewis but Lewis is the much better defender. Green is slightly the better perimeter shooter. Hypothetically, if Green were to come to La Salle and sit.. I would imagine the 2014 lineup would be Stukes/Lewis, Green and Roberts... and that offense would be crazy potent... Now, however, it has to be mentioned for the people wanting for Green to transfer here.. If Green were to come here, I believe we would be shut out of the 2014 Philly Guard class or any of the highly-sought after 2014 guards that we are offering too. There would be no playing time for any of the 2014 guard recruits for 2 years.

Based on the title I thought it was the name of one player and I wanted him just to hear Kale yell, "JUAN'YA GREENAMEER TANKSLEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"

Agree with above and with so many nice prospects. I think he may pass on a transfer gd. While I like Mihalich personally, I don't think his teams were known for defense. Green put up a ton of shots For a 40% shooter. I don't doubt that these were damn good hs players, but I think we are better off starting fresh at that position rather than risk chemistry issues because of them carrying a high load of shots and points at what I perceive to be a lesser program. I've been wrong before though (see Galloway).

Niagara transfers Juan'ya Green and Ameen Tanksley are both heading to Hofstra. Terrific additions for the Pride.

Niagara fans can't be too happy about this. A goodbye present?
