Yeah except we never beat them, so it's not a loser approach, it's a pragmatic one. Not quite "never". Temple owns a 73-40 all time record and has won 8 straight. It had been 20 years since La Salle last went to the NCAA tournament so would it have been pragmatic to expect they wouldn't go this year? Do you review every game based on what is "pragmatic"? If that's the case why play the season at all? **** Also, would it be "pragmatic" to say we won't be able to sign any of the players we are currently involved with based on the schools we are recruiting against so let's just assume we won't get them and move on? You say pragmatic, I say, "loser". Not going to quibble with you because you obviously have a thing with regard to this topic. However, there isn't anything misguided with using our recent success (specifically the lack there of) as the benchmark to measure the likelihood of immediate future success against one of our city rivals. The fact that we made a run this post season does not suddenly prevent Dunphy from knowing how to beat us consistently.

I wish our annual schedule was the games we're forced to play in conference and then only games against the top 10 teams in the nation. If you don't agree, you're a loser with a loser's mentality.

G's only recruiting trip should be to the McDonald's game.

Loser's mentality. If we play anything less than the 4 best teams in the NBA, the Olympic Medalist teams, and the 1992 Dream Team with all of their primes restored via some kind of Space Jam-esque magic basketball, you're a pansy. We won the National Title in 1954, we can do anything.

Why not try something that's never been done like finding a cure for cancer?
