Starting a game thread a bit early for the Exhibition. Sounds like the game is only available on Audio tonight, but just in case, and for future reference:
NO LINKS TO ILLEGAL STREAMS.
I'll delete them, and repeated offenses will force me to hand you your hat.
That said, excited for La Salle basketball to get going tonight. 1 week from tomorrow is the real deal.

So far it has been the ramon galloway show.
Sam Mills was ill kept him out of the starting line up.

1st half, our bigs have not been very impressive.....from the sound of it.

My audio stopped working almost immediately, so I'm only paying cursory attention honestly. I'll rely on everyone who is there to illuminate things tonight/tomorrow.

I have been able hear it both on my smart phone and computer flawlessly Kudos La Salle tech boys.
We are getting terribly out rebounded.

OK, my audio is working again. I think I gave up too easily.
Exhibition or no, I'd still prefer they not lose this game.

Galloway blocks a shot at the end. La Salle wins 61-58. Important second half comeback. Look forward to info from those who were there live.

Sounded like there were some positive spurts for each of the bigs in the 2nd half

Coach shouldn't be lacking for things to talk about this game.
Sounds like Jerrell just has leg cramps. Sam should be healthier by next Saturday.

That's a lousy "exhibition" win over a school they should log at least a 20-point win over.

Team looked awful. Coaching wasn't much better. We lose next week if we play like we did tonight. All the offense was one on one like it was two years ago.
Very disappointing even though it was an exhibition.

My take is simple- they got up quick and then started the one on one nonsense and it let Carleton back in the game and eventually take the lead. Once they fell behind unthought they played much better. There did not seem to be much of a game plan and that may very well have been by design in some ways. Also didn't help that Jerrell and Sam weren't really available Good teams have lost exhibitions in the past to worse teams I think our guys were not focused as they would have been for a "real" game. If the same thing happens Saturday I will be concerned but right now I expect this will provide plenty of a wake up cal

If we come out to play like this against Delaware, we have a loss to open up the season. We shall see...

I was there. Some thoughts: Positives: The D was really solid. We pressured for 94 feet, including heavy pressure inside of halfcourt, which was great. When we had to press, we did that very well too which generated the game winning run. Steve played a great centerfield on the press and did well stopping a lot of the two-on-ones. Ramon forced some things but 28 points on better than 50% shooting is hard to argue. Negatives: The overall offensive flow was awful. We tried to run a set, it didn't work, we'd hold it out top until 8 seconds, the PG would make a one on one play. Lots of one on one play.
Overall, not very impressed. Hopefully it was a matter of scouting and/or game face.

Perimeter defense was good early but the interior defense was terrible all night and has been for years. Jerrell is the biggest culprit. He needs to understand defense is important as well. Our bigs were carved up by a crafty 6"6 kid.
Zack played well late to help us but my concern with him is he just is not.athletic enough to make that huge leap as Rothstein and G want us to believe.
We are too small up front and need a kid like Brimah badly.

That gangly 6'6" 135 lb kid was definitely crafty. He hit 3 or 4 of those step through pivot layups. You're right though, the interior defense was pretty bad.

Did Davis, Brown or Hunt give any indication they will help us?

Did Davis, Brown or Hunt give any indication they will help us? Davis and Hunt did not play. Brown was active but missed two free throws , a lay up in traffic, but did hit an open 3. He seems to have a nose for the ball. He is probably. 5 to 10 minute a game player right now.
