3% can be so misleading depending on the type of shots the kid is taking and how much his teammates and role dictate he force the offense. Not saying its the case here, but it could be.

Nealum and 88, Taylor was on a d-1 loaded team. If you can knockdown forty, you're big time my mind. I looked at Green and Tanksley, but their %'S on treys wasn't that great. If the rumor on Xmas is valid, I'd like to wait on that. G is going to get some quality kids with that run. The Christmas info was bad. It was confirmed in the Jimmy Martelli thread by a guy who was his academic advisor coming out of high school. No one has been able to identify who the mystery big man transfer possibility is yet, but it's definitely not Christmas.

Both Earl Pettis and Ramon Galloway improved their three point percentages at La Salle. Earl at Rutgers: 32.1% Earl at La Salle: 36.3% Ramon at USC: 32.8% Ramon at La Salle: 42.4%

We all had logic 101. Of course some kids make an improvement. Ramon improved dramatically in every aspect of his game. I would not expect that from most transfers. IMHO, most are like Oliver and Pepper. I found the Xmas tranfer a bit more like wishful thinking although it's not implausible that if Syr. is NCAA Tourn ineligible that they could lose him. I'm sure Tanksley or Green are talented as well, but there are only two available for 2013 and if Taylor has G's attention in May, where we never were on his list before, then that gets my attention (along with the last two monster games he had). I would think that Bona. has an edge because they were on him early and he's from Toronto. It would be nice to get into that area.

My sample size was based on transfers into La Salle, and my theory on their improved shooting was based on the possibility that a good shooting coach (guards coach Will Bailey) and an offensive scheme that gets players a lot of open threes might have something to do with their improved percentages.

You can cross him off the list. Per Alex Kline he has re-committed to Old Dominion.
