BCS dominated propaganda. All of the usual suspects. Wonder how many of the top 25 lose in round one in 2014. Is that the same Kentucky that recently lost to Robert Morris that is ranked #1, phenomenal turnaround! Did notice Kansas St at 23 and Wichita St at 37.

Yep, those rankings are pretty much an absolute joke.
Not sure how you can have Villanova, VCU, Kansas State, and Boise State all ranked in the top 25 and then Butler in the top 50 and not include us anywhere since we beat each of those teams (splitting with Butler) and return everyone but Ramon. I realize Ramon is going to be a loss, but some of those teams I mentioned are losing some key players as well. And before someone says we beat Butler when they were playing without Clarke, let's remember that we beat Villanova when we were playing without Garland, and we beat Kansas State and Boise State when we were playing without Zack. So it works both ways.
Villanova being ranked so high on this site is especially interesting considering they only have 1 true big man on their current roster for next year in Ochefu (who as a freshman this year averaged 3.5 points and 4.1 rebounds) and a quasi big in Pinkston. But again, it's only rankings - hopefully we prove them wrong again on the court.

Complete waste of time. At least wait until August!

Complete waste of time. At least wait until August! I know but it beats the hell out of arena talk. At least it's basketball. Can anyone verify this? I heard that Georgetown has lost it's last 5 NCAA games to double digit seeds. If true, would Thompson survive at any other BCS school if his name weren't Thompson.

Recruit and transfer talk is better than projecting teams that are still trying to position their rosters for next year.

I love Wichita St now (their fans in LA couldn't have been nicer...seriously), but I don't see how they easily replace 32 ppg and 20 rebounds a game.

I'd just as soon sneak up on the world again. Those ratings are really pretty silly.

All you guys need to get thicker skins. We'll see how thick my skin is. I'm going to be putting my bracketology skills to the test starting November, 2013. In the meantime, I joined the crowd and projected 2013-2014. Feel free to comment, ridicule, criticize, whatever. I won't be doing much forecasting on my site as I like to use real and raw data to select the Field of 68 BUT forecasts are fun. But forecasts are tend to be silly so poke away: wp.me/p3lXz3-I

Lets worry about ourselves. Others perceive us as a Cinderella-ridiculous; we were a very solid team that got hot and took advantage of our opportunity. Lets get back to tourney next year and the lack of respect will end. BTW, I think we did get much respect during our run. The media coverage in the city was great-forget Cataldi- we were the lead or top story for days. This group of young men and their coaches have done more for LSU than can be put into words.
