Anybody else struggling with inability to decompress and get back to life? Not having trouble with loss of last game(that's BB) but with end of season and feeling of separation that goes with it. There was just so much good feeling in the air and so much attention heaped upon LaSalle, and now we get back to "normal'" Just wish there was more that we could do to let the community know what a special place LaSalle is. People also need to understand that we have passion and love for the team because we have passion and love for the School- and not the other way around. We share those feelings for LSU that our players articulated. The Fight Song is on an unending loop in my head. I need help! But-its a great illness!

Hey Screamer!
I could not agree more. My mantra for this was "I don't want this to ever end." Like G's amazing motto says -- Life goes on. Love goes on. Family goes on.
I think the outpouring of love and amount of people reconnected with the school through the amazing run we had doesn't ever have to end. In fact, I'm currently exploring (SORRY!) ways I can do this. I don't have a ton of money (and am paying off my grad school debt) so making a donation is pretty much out of the question but I'm eagerly going to look for ways to volunteer to help the school's mission.
I don't know what that will entail quite yet. But it's the least I can do for a place that has taught me so much and made me the person I am today.

Coqui900 you can help with fund raising. It's as simple as contacting as many as your friends and getting them to give a donation to laSalle basketball. Every little bit helps. Like they say.. If you don't ask... The answer is always no. I simply ask them AND tell then to send the check to me. If you say donate no nobody does. If you say donate AND send me the check they do. Message me if you want more info but it is as simple as that.

At least the love is continuing. G will be on Preston & Steve tomorrow. Obviously it won't be a hard hitting interview, but hell they're giving him more air time to talk about this special team.

Look man, I understand money is tight. I'm in the same boat, but allow me to twist your ear for a moment. You don't need to give a lot to be a donor. Give up the wawa coffee for a month, skip your next case of beer, and above all pester the living Hell out of your friends. Your team needs your help. securelb.imodules.com/s/1206/index-nortcol.aspx?sid=1206&gid=1&pgid=660&cid=1490Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using proboards

The single best way to help the team is probably to buy season tickets. However, I look at the Explorer Fund as a way to ensure La Salle's teams are competing with the resources we know they sorely need. Also if you are in a position to help the team with gifts in kind as part of a reception or an auction, it could go a long way in keeping the department's fundraising expenses down.
