Seth Greenberg and Andy Katz did a buy or sell segment on the A-10 and here's what they had to say on La Salle:
Greenberg: "If they can rebound the ball, I'm really buying, because I think their guards are really terrific. I think that they play with great spacing. Duren is a terrific distributor and play starter, but they're playing 4 guards and they got absolutely destroyed on the backboards. To me they are going to take care of the basketball against VCU, they're not going to turn it over, they're not gonna be passive against that pressure, they're gonna drive it and get to the lane. I think they're a team that has a chance, they're an 'if'. If they don't rebound the ball, they are who they are. They're going to be a 17-19 win team and they're going to be in either the CBI or the NIT."
Katz: "Multiple coaches told me at the A-10 media day, that they think La Salle is this season's St. Bonaventure, where they could come on late and win the conference championship.
I thought Greenberg was pretty spot on, with his analysis of our style of play and what we need to do but I'd go one step up beyond his prediction. I think this year the NIT has to be the lowest acceptable goal.

For reference here's their thoughts on the other teams they discussed:
St. Louis - step back without Majerus but could battle for a top-25 spot by end of year VCU - worried about having to play a tougher conference schedule and the wear and tear that's going to do, but still very high on them St. Joe's - very high on, almost sounded like a guarantee tourney team from their enthusiasm St. Bonaventure - big time sell and step back without Nicholson Butler - buying, thinking they could be really explosive on offense, but similar worry about conference schedule as VCU Temple - "Always buy Fran Dunphy" Xavier - selling this year due to too many player's gone from last year UMass - buying, both made it seem like this is one of his major sleepers in the conference

Screamer is always high on Lasalle. Havijng said said that, I truly believe that it is 20 wins at a minimum and more would not be surprising. There is not 1 team that wew cannot beat. If this group of players was not wearing "LASALLE" jerseys, analysts would be much higher on team. This group will put LSU back on map. The team leaders and G will prevent team from losing games they should win and if beat Tewmple or VCU on road and Nova at home, things set up nicely. Obviously the UMASS and STJ games are critical, but we can win those games. An improved Zack will help in those games and if Davis can play a little, we should not be physically manhandled.
