This is being discussed already in the A-10 scenarios thread.

Yeah Temple pushed us down to the 4th seed and Butler out of the bye.

Not to lose sight in this is Temple played a phenomenal 2nd half. They made the adjustments and won a game they needed. After that insane VCU run in the 1st half I thought it was over.

Temple secured a bid today and got the bye which means they will be a harder out in the finals. Butler-Dayton/SLU/Temple is not the Brooklyn schedule I had hoped for but hey

Butler, thinking they are already in, may not bring their A game against Dayton and go home early to prepare for the NCAA tourney. After getting by Dayton we then could face Saint Louis or possibly Charlotte (they came back to life again) if Saint Louis decides to go home early.

Charlotte got blasted by Richmond back in January, and the wheels have only come off since then for that team. They won't beat the Spiders and at this point, couldn't beat SLU on any court. I wouldn't count on seeing anyone but the Billikens if we win our first game.

Come on guys if Zack is not healthy it is very, very difficult to beat someone like Butler or VCU and just about impossible against St. Louis or Temple. You still have to play as hard as you can but with only 6 players (if Zack can't contribute)who have played on a regular basis it is asking an awful lot. Common sense says we lose to Butler soundly and Dayton (if they somehow upset Butler)would be an absolute dogfight. Now if S. Zack can play and do a solid job we hang tough with Butler (win or lose) and would probably beat Dayton. Zack is so so important to this team against better teams.

It's great news to see Zack as listed day-to-day. Anything worse than that and I would say he's done for the next two weeks.

I thought I read or heard a quote stating from G Zack was going to miss all week (last week) and would be day to day after missing the week when he came back from the doctor.
I agree we likley can't beat Butler without him and as someone else mentioned, that means Zack has to practice some before he plays a game. If he just plays on Friday without substantial practice I am not sure how effective he can be.
